Alien Disguised as Household Pet
In an earlier article ("An Alien in our Midst" December 2000) I informed you of the new resident and of Oinker's theory on her origin. Today I have even more news.
It seems that our resident "alien" is, in fact, the queen of "Planet Feline". What is planet Feline? I asked Oinkers the same question. "Planet Feline is a distant planet ruled by cats. All cats are really aliens, you see, and Shelob is their queen!"
When asked what effect this could have on our planet, Oinkers was happy to explain, "The Cat's goal is to take over the Earth and destroy all life as we know it. they will turn us into their slaves and they must be stopped!"
In light of his discoveries Oinkers is currently organizing a defense, though he hasn't let this reporter in on the plan yet.

Valentines Made Easy By Candie
Here is an easy way to make Valentines.
Take a piece of construction paper (pink is best) and fold it in half. Draw half of a heart shape against the fold. Leaving it folded cut along line. Flatten and you have a heart! Trim with lace or paper. Write your greeting in the center.
With such an easy valentine there will be no excuse for not having them done by Valentines Day!

Plan Takes Action
Oinkers's plan to defeat the Alien took place last month. Oinkers, Booy and myself participated in the maneuver.
The three of us crept towards the sleeping cat and Booy and I trimmed her whiskers so she can not transmit anymore signals.
Booy and I were both scratched up a lot, but I am just proud to have been a part of saving the earth. Booy, on the other hand, had this to say, "I am not doing that again!"
We can all hope that Booy finds it in his heart to help us again, and we can also be thankful that our mission was successful.

Frog Breaks Record
Charles the Frog has broken the record for most consecutive TV shows watched.
Last month Charles watched ten hours (twenty episodes) of his favorite TV show "Red Dwarf". "It wasn't hard," said the new record holder. "I love that show!"
The old record holder was Booy with eighteen episodes of "Captain Teddy".
New Years Party a Success
This years New Years party was a night of music, food and fun.
Doggie cooked up a batch of treats including Chocolate-Cream Rolls and Italian Sandwiches. The Music included a wide variety, and was turned up quite loud - until the party was threatened with the town cop. After that, the music was turned down.
At Midnight confetti was thrown by all in a glittering shower and a toast was given by Oinkers while everyone drank Sparkling Grape Juice. The party lasted long after mid-night, with movie watching and game playing.
This reporter only hopes that the New Year is half as good as the party was!

Valentines Day Approaching
