SCENE I (Outside, it is a dark halloween night. Icabod Crane is walking
	home with Nell)

Nell: Wasn't that a great Haloween party Icabod?

Icabod: Yes, it was. I can't wait till next halloween!

(a noise of horses hooves)
Nell: What is that?

Icabod: It sounds like a horse! Someone is comming down the road

(enter Headless Horseman on horse)
Headless Horseman: Oooooooh! Have you seen my head?

Nell and Icabod: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

(exit Nell and Icabod running away in panick)

Headless Horseman: I wonder what is wrong with them.

SCENE II(Inside the church. Icabod and Nell are hiding from the
Headless Horseman. The priest and two congregation members are also
there)

Icabod: "It was aweful!"

Priest: It sounds very scary indeed! It was smart of you
	to run in here.

Nell: I'm so cold

Congregation Member #1: Here is a blanket, and some cocoa
(wraps blanket around nell and gives them both cups)

Nell: (taking a drink) this is much better.

Congregation Member #2: Have you heard the story of the
	Headless Horseman?

Nell and Icabod: No

Priest: It is a sad story. He used to a normal pig who
lived in this village. Then one Halloween someone took
his head and used it as a pumpkin.

Nell: How aweful!

Congregation member #1: Now he rides around every Halloween
	looking for his head.

Icabod: That is a scary story!

(There is a loud knock on the door)

Priest: Who is it

Headless Horseman: Oooooooh! Have you seen my head?

All: Ahhhhhhhh!

(exit all running in fear)

SCENE III (Nell's house. Icabod and Nell sit in chairs talking)

Nell: I bet if someone found his head then the Headless Horseman would
go away and quit scaring people.

Icabod: Do you think so?

Nell: Yes I do. We should go look for it.

Icabod: But where would we look?

Nell: How about the graveyard? There are lots of pumpkins there.

Icabod: All right.

(exit nell and Icabod)

SCENE IV(Graveyard. There are lots of pumpkins. Icabod and Nell
are examining them.)

Icabod: Is this one it?

Nell: I don't think so. How about this one?

Icabod: That looks like it!

(enter Headless Horseman)
Headless Horseman: Oooooh! Have you seen my head?

Nell: (holding up pumpkin) Yes, here it is.

(Headless Horseman takes pumpkin and puts on head where it turns into
his own head)

Headless Horseman: Thank you very much! I am so happy
	to have my head back!

Nell and Icabod: You're welcome.

Headless Horseman: I have had a hard time finding it!
Everyone just runs away from me!

Nell: Poor headless Horseman, you've been misunderstood.

Headless Horseman: Yeas I have, but thanks to you two I finally
	have my head back!

(exit Headless Horseman)

Icabod: I guess he wasn't scary after all.

Nell: See, I told you, he was really a nice piggy.
