Hello friends. A horrible calamity has befallen me, the phone company has discontinued service! No Internet! I am writing this out by hand and The-Short-One has promised she will type it in for me when she uses the library computer. If you are reading this then I guess she did - about time she did something!
Without the internet I have been a sad little pig. Luckily we have gotten a new game called Tri-Bond. It is very hard and almost impossible unless you give really good clues - trust me.
Booy has begun catching on to poker and beating me, something I do not like very much. Consequently I am now teaching him to play spit, though he is having a hard time laying the cards down very fast because of his fury paws. Edgar wanted to learn too, but he is so small that it takes too long for him to carry a card to the middle of the table lay it down and then go pick up the next one.
Doggie has made a mess in the kitchen. He has been trying to make a soufflé (or whatever) and it has exploded in the oven. I hope he cleans it up before The-Short-One and Charlie get back from the lake....
The weather here has gotten cooler, but I hope it cools down even more. I have been told that this year is a freak and that it is usually nice, in fact those were the exact words of Fritz the friendly goat, might I add.
The neighbors have stopped coming over, thank goodness. I have been very worried that I would be stolen and pawned. I don't think a pawn shop is a nice place to live....
Well my little paw is hurting from holding the pen, but I will be back!
