Greetings all! Here I am back safe and sound. I have been gone you see. The-Short-One went to Iowa for two weeks and took me and Booy with her. Charlie didn't go and as boring as the first week was I don't blame him.
The-Short-One's father came and got us, it was a very long car trip! We went to his house where apparently the The-Short-One once lived. Booy and I spent a lot of time playing cards. Then that Slobby-Brother-Like-Person and some scraggily looking people showed up. They were up at all hours of the night playing video games, and that's when they were even there!
But the worst part is who lives with this father of short people - NINE CATS! Of course they recognized me and I and Booy had to hide in a room with the door closed to be safe. Oh the terror as night after night the scruffy people sat outside that door playing video games while those cats scratched and scratched at the door. The yowling the hissing oh I will never do that again!
The second week was delightful! We went to The-Short-One's mothers house and I got to see my good friend Bubbles! He showed me his drawings he's been doing on the computer and we played in the snow and did lots of fun things. Everyone left one night so we had a camp out in the kitchen and were telling scary stories when suddenly they came back! We had everything drug under the Slobby-Brother-Like-Person's bed in a few seconds. We figured it was the safest place since he never cleans under it anyway.
I met some new friends, Tommy Toad (a small Slobby-Brother-Like-Person toad) and Andy who happens to be Annie's brother! I always thought she'd made him up when she talked about him! He is very nice, but sad because he lives in a suitcase. He is not in good shape and could use some major surgery to repair him.
Speaking of surgery! I was forced to undergo it at the hands of The-Short-One! More terror! But I am still alive and I do feel better now that my stuffings no longer are leaking out so all is good. I just hope the seams will hold!
I am glad to be home! Though I wish Bubbles and Mouse and Tommy and Andy could have come with me. But to each their own I suppose. I must go now before I end up with a blister!
