Volume XLVII | By Edgar T. Penguin | June 2004 | ||
"The Pigs" beat "The Bears" 3 to 2. Bubbles won the game with his amazing slide into home base, which, he informs me, he has been practicing for months in preparation. The second game of the day was won 10 to 7 by "The Avengers" with a loss going to the usual champions "The Stars". Clownie, coach of the losing team, said he didn't mind loosing, as the whole point was "just to have fun" The next game will find "The Chargers" playing against "The Pigs" and "The Avengers" taking on "The Bears" and promises to be a great day!
The Iowan bears may be used to this monster, but many of us here are not used to dealing with such an evil alien - especially not along side of our three resident aliens! What can we do about this? To begin with, exercise extreme caution around any alien that is unfamiliar to you. Second sign up with me for our Project Save The Earth Campaign. I am always looking for good generals to help in the fight against felines! Be brave my friends, the alien menace will eventually leave, hopefully it is before she has brought catastrophe and war to our peaceful planet!

This year has seen the creation of two new teams; Andy's "Avengers" and Orange Ducky's "Chargers". Orange Ducky had this to say, "I had to form my own team, I am a general after all! I cannot take the orders of any of these other coaches! I have a battle plan that guarantees my team the house championship!" Oinkers is still coaching "The Pigs", as are Booy and Clownie still heading up "the Bears" and "The Stars". Clownie had this comment about the season, "I just hope everyone has a good time and enjoys themselves!". If anyone would still like to join the teams please see the respective coaches and they will sign you up. Go team!
Hopefully this month will be the last extension of this contest, and hopefully more bears will put in an entry! Though, I would like to thank all of those who have put in an entry!
These two detectives have partnered up with Batty and Spotty so we now have four detectives to solve your mysteries!

Last month the wonderful bears of this house put on a hilarious ballet performance for us all. Annie was the star in this delightfully funny show, and she did an excellent job of portraying "three-Stooges" style humor. She fell down many times, bumped heads with Henry nearly knocking them both out and finally for the finally brought the entire set down on the cast! It was hilarious! Henry, the male lead, also managed a few good jokes of his own, coming in too soon, and the part where he tried to lift Annie above his head was a scream! Cuddles did an excellent job too playing the "straight man". Her dancing was superb, making Annie and Henry's charade even funnier! This had to be the best ballet I have ever seen, and I think Cuddles and Annie were geniuses for adding a little comedy to an art form that so many find tedious. Good Job guys!
"A great mystery can not be solved overnight, especially one as deep and physiological as this mystery is. It may take many more months." Obviously Seymore has the patience, but do the Harrys?
