The slug lived in the shower for two days before it attacked a member of our household; Oinkers. "I threw that slug right out the window," quoted Oinkers. "After I discovered that garlic didn't work I knew it was the only way". The slug has not been seen since. It escaped the first night and attacked Oinkers, who tried to use Garlic on the creature only to discover it had no effect. Joey found the slug that time and put it back in the shower, waiting till "pay-day" to buy it a cage. The next night it struck again, which is when Oinkers threw it out the window. Joey misses her pet slug, but many here are of the opinion that it's "Good Riddance to Bad Slugs."

The family we live with has decided to make this move based on the fact that Joey's husband's dad live here. When I asked her how much thought was put into the move she replied, "not a lot". Anyone in the vicinity may also have noticed that there were extra people here for the duration of the three day move who then disappeared. These people were, according to Oinkers, "The Ogre", "Scrungy-Boy" and "The-Slobby-Brother-like-Person". They have gone back to Iowa and will probably never be back to bother us again. The move is complete, thought the house still needs some work. Hopefully next month I can report that everything is done.

Oinkers has already taken advantage of this connection to put up his own web log. Perhaps he will help others to enjoy this as well.
Admission was free and attendance was high. Doggie had made a variety of cookies, cakes and pies for participants to sample. A vote was held and the favorite dish was ruled "Cocoa Dominoes". Doggie had this to say, "I just like to cook, and I enjoy making everyone happy with good food." Perhaps another expo is in the works?
In Iowlownie participated in the weekly "Big Top" circus. He has not been able to find one here, but had this to say, "I miss the circus, but I think I may just have to try to organize my own." We can only hope, because a sad clown is a sad sight.
