Penguin Almost Drowns During a late night party last month, yours truly, almost drowned in a large glass of milk. Booy, Doggie, Oinkers and Spotty were also present at this get-together. All were enjoying their game of "Monopoly" and afterwards a rousing game of Bowling, then disaster struck. Since I am such a little penguin I find it hard to drink out of big glasses, but since it is hard to pour milk into tiny glasses I was given a large glass anyway. I was standing on the rim and leaning down to take a sip when my tiny feet slipped and I fell in! I floated on the top screaming "Help, help!" and luckily was quickly rescued by Oinkers. I am just thankful to have lived through such an ordeal; and i only drink out of tiny glasses now. Spotty is a large, life-sized, Rottweiler. He has come to live with us and seems to be pretty happy about it. So that we could all get to know him a little, I interviewed him. I will draw pictures for cards, signs, etc.	Heat wave Sweeps Missouri The last two weeks have been unbearably hot as temperatures have soared into he high 90's. It has been reported to me that the water level at Stockton lake has significantly dropped. Small ponds are drying up, as the temperatures reach dangerous highs. Everyone is advised to try to stay cool as best as they can. New Web Sites After Oinkers completed his web site, others are now joining him by putting sites on the Internet. Booy has put up a web site telling the world about Captain teddy, as he can't find any existing Captain Teddy websites. Doggie has posted a web site filled with his favorite recipes, and I have made one where I am publishing our newspaper so others can read it. Spotty is also currently working on one. With everyone jumping on the internet bandwagon it is only a matter of time till the Internet is populated by hundreds of teddy websites! Detective Agency Formed Spotty and Batty have formed a detective agency to solve any and all mysteries! Just what we needed!
