Volume XV By Edgar T. Penguin October 2001
Autumn is Here
Autumn is finally here and hopefully the temperatures will begin to drop.
Outside, leaves are changing, and bugs are leaving! It's the time of year for weenie roasts and hayrides.
As such, a Weenie Roast is being planned for sometime this month, to be held on the patio.
Everyone is invited, and I will be sure and let everyone know when a date has been set.

Pumpkin Carving Workshop
Next Saturday oinkers will be holding a pumpkin carving workshop outside on the patio.
All who wish to participate need to bring their pumpkins. Oinkers has a book of patterns, and you can either choose one of these or pick your own. Cutting tools for the pumpkins will also be provided.
Be sure and wear old clothes, so you don't ruin your nice ones!

Oinkers Books Being Written
Last month Joey started writing a book about all of us!
My sources say that there is going to be a whole series called "Oinkers's Adventures". I am not sure why Oinkers is the main character.
That aside, the first installment is "Oinkers's Christmas Play", which is about the play we put on last Christmas!
These books promise to very good, and who knows, maybe she will get them published!

Halloween is Coming!
Halloween is on it's way and it is time that we all considered what we wanted to dress up like.
There will be another Halloween party this year, if you would like to help with it then see Oinkers and he will assign tasks.
Due to the location of our "new house", we will not be trick-or-treating this year, as town is too far away.

Now Taking Editorials
The Penguin Post is now taking editorials to publish in it's monthly issue.
They need to be handed in by the 28th of each month and should not have derogatory remarks about any members of the household. If they do, they will not be published.

Wanted: Plastic Ears
Clownie is looking for a pair of slip-on plastic ears for his halloween costume, he says he prefers them to be pointy. What he is going as is anyone's guess, but if you have a pair please loan them to him.
