Big Snowstorm Brings Fun
Early last month we had a large snowstorm that left at least a foot of snow on the ground.
This little gift gave us a day home from school, and provided us with hours of fun.
Snowballs were thrown, snow bears ere built, and Oinkers and Booy generously shared their sleds with all.
Of course school was opened the next day, but it gave us an opportunity to take a much needed break!

Aliens Need Whisker Trim
Since Oinkers and Booy have been gone, the Aliens whisker trimming has gone undone.
I am asking for volunteers to help me to keep Project Save the Earth going. I can trim the whiskers, but I need at least one other to help hold her down.
Remember, the fate of the Earth rests on us.

Spy for Hire
Need some spying done? Then talk to me, Moos. I am an expert spy who can get the job done.

Winter Concert
Last month several members of our household put on a winter concert.
Sonnett, Buster Thomas, Moos, Candie, Annie and Edward all sang several selections of classic favorites.
Doggie made cookies for everyone to partake of during the short intermission. The concert was held in the living room and had quite a turn out.
The performers all did an excellent job, and I, for one, am hoping that a Spring concert is in the works.

Fruit Wanted
Don't like grapes? Can't stand juicy fruit? Edward the bat will take it off your hands (and your dinner plate). Edward is looking for fruit that he can suck the juices out of, as he is a vampire bat. If you would like to set something up, let him know.
Valentines Day on it's Way
Once again it is the season to begin making valentines!
This is a reminder to all to get valentines made and addressed in time for Valentines Day, February 14th.

Workshop to be Held Saturday
The Saturday after next Oinkers is holding a "Valentine Making" Workshop.
Oinkers is going to show how to make a variety of different valentine designs, and even how to design your own. Plus tricks and shortcuts that will make it look like you spent hours, when you really only spent a few minutes!
All who wish to participate need to meet in the Word Processor area at one o'clock pm. Please bring construction paper, and your ideas!
Of course this is onmly if Oinkers is back from Iowa by then. If not, the workshop will be headed by me.

Artists Wanted
The Penguin Post needs a fill in to draw the pictures when Oinkers is not here. If you're interested please contact me.
