One of the changes were that we had to wait until December 30th for Christmas, and another change being that The-Short-one's family came from Iowa and brought our friend Bubbles with them. Christmas was held at night this year, during our Christmas party. Doggie made delicious snacks for all; hotdog crescents, chips and dip, Sausage and crackers and cheese, not to mention a variety of wonderful Christmas candy. As we munched our treats, we opened piles of presents and fun was had by all. Once the presents were opened, a Christmas movie marathon began. Movies watched included "The Toy That Saved Christmas", "The Star of Christmas", and "It's a Wonderful life". Though Christmas may be gone, it has left behind wonderful memories we will have forever.

The first weeks brought seven inches of snow, and a lot of winter fun. A giant Snowbear was built, not to mention snow forts. The week before Christmas brought fifty-plus degree weather, thunder storms, and tornadoes. While we were lucky enough to not get hit with a tornado, many neighborhoods in our area were not. It was a sad, sad thing - especially right before Christmas. By Christmas eve the temperature had dropped to below freezing and we saw another seven to ten inches of snow, unfortunately schools were all ready out for Christmas, but fun was had anyway. Hopefully this month will bring normal weather!

A party was discussed, but due to the fact that Christmas was held the day before, and Christmas dinner was on New Year's Eve it was decided that another party would be too much. I want to wish everyone a happy new year! Here's hoping we can have a party next year!
The old champion, Oinkers, had this to say, "That bear better just wait, I'll be the champion again." Booy's response, "Ha!". Congratulations Booy!
Hot cocoa will be served afterwards, and everyone is invited. Meet in the cow field at two o'clock in the afternoon for winter fun. Hope to see everyone there!
