Volume XXIX By Edgar T. Penguin December 2002
Site Redesigned
By Oinkers
I, Oinkers, have re-done my web site.
I have made new backgrounds and re-arranged many pages, not to mention adding two new sections; Meet My friends and Gallery.
In the Meet my Friends section I have drawn a picture of all of you and put down your personal preferences (thanks to all who filled out their questionnaires). In the Gallery I have displayed all my non-newspaper pictures for everyone to see.
The-Short-One is going to upload it to a new address some time this week, I wish we had the internet so we could see it, but I do have a copy on the computer for anyone who wants to have a look!

New Art Program
By Oinkers
The cheap people that live in this house have finally spent some money and bought the real version of Paint Shop Pro.
No longer will we have to put up with a demo version that runs out after 60 days!
Anyone who would like to have help learning how to use it's many features then contact me, Oinkers, and I'll help you!

Christmas is Coming
Once again, Christmas is upon us.
This is a reminder to all to get your Christmas cards made and Christmas presents figured out.
There will also be many activities this year. A Christmas Movie night will be held the second Saturday of this month. Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White are hosting a Christmas tea on the second Sunday, and of course there is house decorating night.
    Merry Christmas to everyone!

Picture Contest Winners
This year there were many good entries, but Moos and I managed to select four of the best. Oinkers won first prize with "Santa and his elf".
Spud won second place with "Christmas Trees".
Tearful Teddy won third place for his "Angel of Christmas".
Spotty won an honorable mention with "Snowman".
Thanks to everyone that entered the contest!

Happy Holidays
Guests Have Left
Early last month our "guests" went back to Iowa!
I, for one, am happy to have the living room back, though sources tell me some are not as happy. I have heard that Joey is lonely. When I asked her she had no comment.
Either way the living room is now free so all can go back to normal!

Thanksgiving Memories
Thanksgiving has come and gone, and what a Thanksgiving it was, though Joey's dad and his cat came.
This year no one went to Iowa, so we had a full turnout for dinner. Doggie and his assistants did a knock up job of making a delicious meal, complete with pies.
After dinner we once again played Henry's "What I'm Thankful For" game. We were all thankful for many things.
It was a great Thanksgiving, extra cat and all.

Thank You
Doggie wants to thank all of the volunteers who helped him make Thanksgiving dinner.
"I couldn't have done it without you," he says.

English Comedy Marathon
Ellie is holding an English comedy marathon next Saturday.
All who wish to attend need to meet in the Living room at nine o'clock. Bring your best English accents!

Artist for Hire
Oinkers will be making Christmas cards again this year. If you would like him to make yours then let him know.
