Volume LXIII | By Edgar T. Penguin | October 2005 | ||
One new thing this year is that Oinkers has been elected president of his class, and Seymore has been elected vice president of his class as well. Also, a new policy at the school has demanded that each class has to help pay for one of the school wide parties, as there will be no class parties this year, but instead the holiday parties will include all of the classes. I'd also like to remind everyone to do their homework and get plenty of rest at night!
This year's halloween theme is going to be harry Potter, whihc means the food and decorations will all be Harry Potter themed. Does this mean that costumes must aslo be themed to match as well? no, you casn come as anything you like, but if you want to come as a Harry potter character then that is okay too! If anyone has any ideas to make the party a success, please talk to the commitee heads and let them know your ideas!

With Oinkers as their coach, the pigs went and beat The Stars in an 11 - 10 game, making it a very close win. Both teams played a wonderful game, and Clownie, coach of The Stars had this to say, "We played a good game and had fun, that is all that matters." As the winners, The entire team of the Pigs received a Spaghetti dinner at Spadochie's and also are now the holders of the trophy. Wonder who will win it next year?
The girls from next door came over and had mint tea and cookies provided by Natasha with the girls who live here. The party was deemed success, which Annie chalks up to Booy being in town all day, they are planning another for this month. |
This years party will be between both houses of bears, as last year's was, so there is going to be plenty to do. So far there are several committees who are working on the different aspect including entertainment, decorations, and food. Everyone is welcome to help with the party, and also to attend. Hope to see everyone there, it promises to be a spook-tacular time!
The pumpkin carving kits and patterns will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own pattern. Doggie will provide treats, including roasted pumpkin seeds and hot cider, and Oinkers will over see the actual pumpkin carving. I hope to see everyone there - and don't forget to bring your pumpkin.
