The campout spanned two nights and three days before everyone packed it up and went in mid Sunday. It poured rain for most of that time, creating large puddles so that tents had to be moved many times. There was also a lot of complaining that the hotdogs which were served for every meal were monotonous, and many arguments erupted, not to mention the wild animals which wondered up in the night! I think everyone is glad when I say that there will not be another one for a long time!
The ca has evidently gotten "broken" as you may remember a certain general Moogle once was, as Charlie says that she needs fixed. What ever the cause of this, she has become extremely noisy, and snuggly and if you are not careful you may find yourself snuggled to death before you can do anything about it! be careful, my friends, and remember that together we can defeat the alien menace!

This years party had Harry Potter theme, and it was mandatory to dress as a character form the books or movies. There was a lot of creativity around - from side characters to Quidditch players, to professors - there were even six versions of Harry himself! Not to mention all of the Harrys dressed as an army of dementors. There were games galore, including a scavenger hunt and trivia game, not to mention the sorting ceremony, which put each guest in one of the four houses! The food was also a magical experience, pumpkin pasties, chocolate frogs, cauldron cakes and many other legendary snacks straight from the Harry Potter universe made by Doggie, Natasha and Andy with the help of some volunteers. All together it was a great party, and here's hoping next year's will be as great!

The competitors are Tearful Teddy, Taylor, Pigelty-Wigelty, Boo-Boo, Orange Ducky and Andrew, this will be Andrew's first race, so be sure and cheer for him extra loud! The racers are looking for volunteers to help strip the algae off the surface of the pond before they can race. if you want to help them arrive at the cow pond an hour early! Hope to see everyone at the race!
This year we will NOT be having thanksgiving with the bears next door, as Doggie says it was "Too much of a hassle". he would also like it known that he is making "the traditional menu and if anyone has a problem with it they should go next door where the cooks are more accommodating." I'm sure there won't be any objections!
