Helloooooo to all! I am trying very hard to maintain a cheerful outlook despite my knowledge of immanent disaster. What disaster, you ask. No, it is not the alien menace, and no, I have not been invaded by sticky children, and I am not moving, and the computer is not on the blink - it is the variety show.

As you all know peanuts has been "helping me" with the variety show, well I am sure it shall be a catastrophe! To begin with there are 31 acts - 31! None of which will rehearse at the same time, so there is no way to figure the exact time the show is going to take, let alone that part of them won't rehearse at all! I have made the program (see below) and it was very hard since part of the participants refuse to tell me what they are doing! I have no idea what the Harrys are planning - actually I have an IDEA! I have drawn a picture of what I think their act will turn into. As you can see, I am predicting flames and chaos, and since they are the first act (thanks to peanuts) that should pretty much kill the show. But if we manage to salvage it I'm not sure it will be much of a save! Act number nine is Booy and Doggie re-enacting a scene from a captain teddy movie! Can you believe peanuts let them in with that? By the way, they also refuse to rehearse for me! After that will be Andy with some of his "Doodle, Doodle, Doo" songs, probably aimed at Annie who will then crash the stage to pound him! Act 14 is Orange Ducky and Company (whoever that is, I don't even know!) re-enacting a battle! A battle re-enactment?!?! What was Peanuts thinking? We have a small stage area, not a three-acre battlefield! Act 20 is Randolf and candy skating! Yet again, what was Peanuts thinking? 25 will be pigelty wigelty and crabby acting selected scenes from "The pirates of Pinzans" (or however you spell it!). Pigelty can act?!?! I doubt it! 26 is Baby Rexy's cracker demonstration - whatever that is, and then after that is hot Stuff and the Trouble makers Choir (his name for it, not mine). I have not seen it, nor even heard their song, though Hot Stuff assures me it is of the highest quality. Since it is entitled "Fun, Fun" I highly doubt it, knowing their idea of fun! And Bob, can't remember what his act is called! He will probably get up there and stand there for his time slot. Thank Goodness I am not charging anyone to see this mess or they would want their money back! I had to cut off the participants, because if I hadn't everyone would have been in it and it would have taken all day not to mention a book for the program! I am sorry for carrying on so, but tomorrow is the show!

Oh! The wonderful news: I have finished my Troccas deck! You can download the Whole set, all 78 cards, four backing selections, the "How to Play" document and directions for putting the cards together! Or you can download each sheet separately, in case you've all ready downloaded the rings, flags and trumps, by starting with the Flowers suit. Even if you don't want to play Troccas you should just go look through the cards! They are some fantastic artwork, let me tell you! I am also working on a new fall Wallpaper for your desktop, so keep your eyes opened for it!

Well, the championship was last week and guess who won the shiny new trophy? CLOWNIE!!!! He and his teammates are going to rotate it throughout the year so everyone gets it in their room! He offered to share it with everyone, but who wants a pity turn at the trophy they didn't win!?! Though better Clownie than Orange Ducky, who's team played against Clownie's.

Oh! I have drawn a picture of everyone in their kilts from the Celtic festival, so you could see how silly it looked - though actually Spotty looked surprisingly good in a kilt. he is contemplating going as Rob Roy or whoever for Halloween.

Speaking of Halloween, I can't decide what to go as. I have drawn pictures of my three top costume choices :Mummy, Roman Emperor and My Best Friend. Take a look at them and see which one you think is better. I showed them to Bubbles but he can't decide either! I even made a set of Halloween Paper Dolls in an effort to help with the choice, but nothing has helped! If we want to win the costume prize this year then we need to get started!

Booy says his severed hand is almost "matured" and he is planning on taking it to school sometime this month. I think Mrs. Friendly will probably give him detention, but he doesn't seem to care. He is a very bad bear, I am so glad that my best friend bubbles is a good bear!

Speaking of bubbles and company they are still living here (obviously). I'm not sure when they will be moving out as the original prediction was October, but the-Short-One's mom says that it may not be till December now! Wouldn't it be wonderful if Bubbles was living here for Christmas? Though, he misses his Mommy, and I suppose I don't blame him. I would miss Charlie a lot, though I am not sure about The-Short-one....

Well, I am going to go and make some last minute adjustments to the stage for our show tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be as horrible as I know it will be!
