Spring greetings to all - though it is not very spring-like today, temperature wise that is.

Charlie had his birthday last week! In honour of his birthday, I have made two new garlands!! They are rubber duckies, as he had a rubber ducky themed party.

We are still planning our summer trip to the state capitol - I am not sure if The-Short-One is planning on taking us or not. I really think we should just take a bus (yes, I have called about it and there is one that goes there - but it's a bit pricey) since we need to go to Jefferson City's Teddy Town, and of course The-Short-One would not be allowed in. Unfortunately, as I said the tickets are pricey which will limit who can go as most aren't willing to spend their allowance on it. I have suggested a fundraiser activity; I thought we could sell something at school to make the money for the trip. We are going to vote on it at our next meeting, so keep your fingers crossed. I am bringing a catalog that is FULL of said fund raising items that the-Short-One got from the Laundromat. There are lots of items to choose from, and I am sure we can find something that will sell!

The magic show is scheduled for next week and I am quite excited about it - Sebastian has finally agreed I could make the fliers!. Sebastian does not feel the need to advertise, as he says everyone in both houses already knows, but I managed to talk him into it. Doggie is teaming up once again with Andy and Natasha to make the treats for everyone, so it should be quite and interesting night - not to mention that Sebastian has recently acquired a new magic kit. I am very excited!

I have been playing animal crossing a bit. I have made The-Short-One a very nice pattern of.... ME! I prefer to play the-Short-one's character, as she has more money that Charlie's since poor Charlie never gets to play! I have looked some cheat codes up on the internet, but I prefer not to use them as I am not a cheater - Bubbles's Mommy, on the other hand, has been sing some of them to acquire furniture. Hrrmphphphphphphp!

Boo Boo's club (which Bubbles and I have joined for sure no - he wanted to) will be meeting tomorrow night for a game night. If it is still cold ten i think we will have some cocoa and popcorn, but I am not sure. The plan is to set up lots of games all over the room and then you and your partners rotate from game to the other every ten minutes, so the longer games, like Monopoly, you will be coming into the middle of. It sounds like it should be fun. Bubbles is very excited about it and has been looking forward to it all week.

Nothing particularly new on the alien front. I thought the mother ship had returned, but it ended up only being a camper trailer that had a flat tire, so I was quite happy. The aliens still had their fleas, so they have been flea-ed again. I am not very hopeful as to the effectiveness of this anti-flea product, as it obviously did no good last time! Meanwhile, we have gone back to the old team for the whisker trimmings, as our new volunteers are now living next door. Booy and Edgar seemed a bit woeful about this, as they seemed to be enjoying the extra help, but there is nothing I can do about it. I have tried to get others to join in the fight, but no one seems interested as it is already being taken care of - but I can not risk NOT taking care of it in hopes of recruitment, because who knows what messages the aliens would send in the meantime? Oh, Chaos!

Not too much else is going on around here. School will be out soon, which will be nice. Baseball teams will be forming at the end of this month. I am pretty sure I will have the same team again this year, as I did last year, but maybe not. >Sigh<. Maybe we can finally WIN this year - wouldn't that be nice?

Well, I suppose I will end this for now, as there is not much more to report.
