Hello to all! It has been so lovely here that me and my baseball team have been outside in the evenings practicing. I am very hopeful for this year's season!
I have finished with the Booy Paper Dolls, so be sure and go get the Booy "Fall N Winter" set. I did a lot of work, but I managed to make him look some what presentable.
Needless to say, Maria is still here. I had hoped she would perhaps...oh, I don't know... disappear maybe, but she didn't. I would not mind her if she did not think she was such an "artist", but The-Short-one is making me be nice to her - so I have been ignoring her for the most part. Though, she made us all drink mango and mint tea with dinner the other night! Yech! Why would anyone put mango and mint together? She is crazier than Annie!
Boo Boo's club is also planning a camp out for next weekend, which should be interesting. Bubbles and I are going to share a tent - it is my pink piggy tent. There will be a weenie roast and ghost stories - so I am going to have a lot of hotdogs that weekend! I think a campout does sound like fun, though. Boo Boo has also opened it up to non-club members, because he feels bad that anyone might be "left out". I say that if they want to camp they have to sit through the meetings like we do, but since Boo Boo is "in charge" it is up to him. Let me tell you, no one is going to go to Jefferson City this summer that isn't in the club - unless they can pay their own way and make a contribution to the club.
Hmmmmmm... Not much else going on here. The aliens have even been boring. I think it is because it is too hot to do anything exng - especially since The-Short-One keeps the air conditioner turned OFF! She says she is conserving electricity. Frankly I think she is trying to whip everyone into submission by boiling us all to death! Bubbles's house is quite cool, though, as The-Slobby-Brother-Like-Person believes in air conditioning. I have been spending time there, especially as everyone is always over here playing animal crossing!
Speaking of that silly Nintendo game, you would never believe what Charlie spent the last of his "tax money" on - a gameboy advance! He got it so that the little game characters can now go to the tropical island. I have been playing it (during the odd hour when no one else is on it - namely when The-Short-One is next door eating Yorkshire pudding or onion rings) and I took her character to the island. There is a little islander on the island who is a very crabby girl - she reminds me a lot of Annie. She makes me give her items (which I buy with the-Short-One's money, hee-hee) then she says I am gullible and insults the clothing I am wearing. I could see her insulting The-Short-One's clothing choices, but I make her wear my "oinkers shirt" (which has a picture of me on it). So, I hit the islander in the head with my net. If you do that enough they get really crabby, hee-hee! I need to take some screen captures.
Well, I think that is about all for now, as school is mostly tests - OH! The Booy news! How did I forget this? Booy has been being extremely GOOD at school. He brings Mrs. Friendly cookies every day! Everyone is calling him Booy Prettypants (After Percy Prettypants, who is in our class and is always kissing up to the teacher) and Booy has not even hit any of them! I found out why, though. The principal told him that if he was good for the rest of the year that he would not have to go to summer school for a change. He has decided that he doesn't want to go to summer school, so he is being so good that it is making even me ill!
