June 18 - July 1 2005

Happy Fourth of July - and happy five year anniversary to me! That's right, my web site has now been online for 5 years! In honor of the occasion I have finally reorganized my homepage - isn't it spiffy? i have also added a New Web set! As usual, it is free to download ad use - though i ask that you add a link to me at the bottom of your web page!

The garage sale went very well, though several cub members kept yanking stuff back off the shelves and refusing to actually sell it, so we made less than I had hoped. Still, with all of the various odds and ends everyone has been doing I think we will have enough money for the trip! I am so excite i can hardly wait! The trip is tentatively scheduled for July 27th, but things may change.

I think, as far as baseball goes, that I am trapped in some happy dream - and I do not want to wake up! We have won our last TWO games in a row! Unbelievable, isn't it? I always knew that if my team would just get with it we could finally accomplish something! We are playing the Chargers tomorrow, so I have my fingers crossed!

I finally had to take Hot Stuff's matches away from him, as he was getting into a lot of trouble with his "Flaming Up" stuff. The final straw was when he set my paper plate on fire at the last bar-b-que - I had managed to get the least burned hot dog of the batch and after hot stuff burned up my plate my next hot dog was a black as could be. So, I sat on him, pulled his ears and threatened to show him what "Flaming Up" was really like unless he gave me his matches and a promise to quit setting things on fire. Of course he agreed - what choice did he have if he wanted to keep his ears? frankly I was appalled that Bioloski and Mr. Tubby didn't do anything about this sooner, as he is technically under their care! Either way, it is now over, thank goodness!

The Fourth of July is coming up, and we have lots of plans for it! There is going to be another bar-b-que but this time we are having hamburgers and chicken (thank goodness), though I am sure Andy will have to run the grill and will manage to burn these as well. We are also having potato salad, baked beans, cold slaw, corn on the cob, and watermelon for desert, along with a frozen strawberry concoction that Natasha is making. After that we will, as usual, set off our fireworks. I am sure that Booy will spearhead that again, though hopefully he gets some good assistants this year. Then we are going o have another camp out, and stay up all night telling ghost stories and roasting marshmallows and things! I am really looking forward to it - Bubbles and i will be sharing my piggy tent again.

We have been spending a lot of quality time in the cow pond lately. It was covered in a disgusting green algae slime, but we have gotten rid of it. It took most of a day to do, as we didn't have the proper skimming equipment, but it is now a much cleaner pond! Though last week, the cows chased us out! We were enjoying ourselves quite nicely when all of a sudden the herd of GIANT cows came waddling over, mooing, and stamping and tramping, and being generally scary! Of course, we ran as fast as we could go - have you SEEN a cow up close? They are Gigantic!!!!!! Anyway, I am very upset about this incident. I think that the farmer should show a little more consideration towards us, hrmphphphph!

Sammy and the Twins are planning a wrestling match for later this week, they are planning on including the Iowa wrestlers as well, if they are interested. I am sure that Bobby, Tuffy and Tony will leap at the chance. It promises to be quite interesting! Tommy Toad and Wiggles are also talking about having some car races, but there is nothing definite there yet.

Well, I am going to end this for now.

TTFN,
O
