August 27 - September 9 2005

Autumnal greetings! Though it does not look much like autumn yet, I can assure you that it is indeed here and that the temperatures here will eventually drop (is still 85 - 90 every day).

By the way, I have given out two new awards to The Paper Doll Cafe and also to Little Paper People. I have also joined the Paper Doll Top 100 List! If you like paper dolls you should go take a look at it! i have also added 2 New Garlands, which are always free for your use!

Guess who gets to play in the championship game tomorrow - come on guess!?!? ME!! Well, my team anyway! We will be playing the Stars - so I have my paws crossed! I cannot believe that we made it into the championship! I am so happy - and I hope we win! This year not only does the winner get a trophy, but also a free spaghetti diner at Spadochie's (in Teddy Town) and then we are going to come home and have a big party - well, "we" will if we win that is, Heh-heh.

School has started, and I have been elected class president! Can you believe it? This has just been a great week! Of course, I have been very demanding with everything, so I have not had a lot of free time! In fact, I found out the other day from The-Short-One that Bubbles and I were fighting - but I had been so busy that I had not even noticed! It seems to me that if you are going to go to all the trouble of not talking to someone then you would at least tell them that you were not talking to them! Anyway, apparently he got mad at me because when he wanted me to come over and watch movies I just did not have time and I told him that I had so much going on that i just did not always have time to do everything I wanted to do. He swears that I called him "little Bubbles" and that that was what made him mad. Frankly, I do not remember calling him "little Bubbles" at all. Anyway, this was several days ago, and apparently he has not been speaking to me since - until last night that is. He was playing Old MacDonald's farm with Taylor and they were muddling it up so badly that I had to intervene and show them how to play it! I was going to wait until he bothered to tell me that we were fighting, but I cannot abide people not following the rules! It is just as well, though, because with baseball ending I will now have a couple of free afternoons a week again! And of course, we are in the clubs together, so there is that too.

Maria is still annoying as ever, she had her little workshop weekend - and I hope she enjoyed it! I, for one, did not go! Frankly, who needs someone to show them how to make a book cover? Even a monkey can figure it out for themselves (case in point - Pongo has made some rather interesting banana themed ones)! Like anyone needs Maria in her little pink hat hovering over them "Ooooooh, that is sooo nice!" and "Oh! That is sooo pretty, but don't you think a butterfly would make it nicer?" and other such annoying, condescending comments. I am trying to think of an INTELLIGENT and USEFUL workshop to have - to show her the kind of attendance one can get at a clever and well planned out workshop! Hrmph!

As I said, I have been quite busy lately! We have doubled up baseball practice, there are the clubs I am in (Harry Potter, My club and Boo Boo's Club), homework, my website, and now my presidential duties! Speaking of school - guess who my teacher is AGAIN? Mrs. friendly! I cannot believe that we have the same teacher AGAIN! Apparently they promised her that she would not have Booy or Bubbles if she switched grades - and needless to say she does have both of them. When she walked into the classroom, she just made a sad little sigh and then turned and walked back out. I think I heard someone screaming in the hallway, but I am not sure. After this, she moved Booy and Bubbles to the front row, pointed her paw at them and exclaimed "You are both little trouble makers - but I am keeping my eyes on you!". Poor Bubbles, branded a troublemaker! I wish he had never started that riot! Booy, on the other hand, has been up to his old tricks - he let the class robotic rat out the other day and sent it straight towards poor Mrs. friendly who had a screaming fit and climbed up on her desk before she realized what it was. He is such a bad bear!

Well, I think that will wrap it up for this week! I had best be going as I have Harry Potter Club meeting to go to!

Till next time!
O
