Hello friends! I am back!! That is right, once again Oinkers is online for the world to enjoy! And it has not been an easy journey!

But before I explain the woes of finding a host I shall first tell you what's new! First of all, I have recovered all the images for the lost contact boxes, and I have remade them all! Yes, my friends, all 48 have been restored now! not only that, but I have made several new contact boxes as well! I have also put them into categories: Dark, Nature, Cute, Harry Potter, Fantasy, Music, and Miscellaneous. This makes them easier to find I think, since I have over 200 of the total!

I have also added a new section to the extras page - Paint Shop Pro Downloads. In this are downloads of brushes and Picture tubes that I've made over the years for my favorite image editing program - you guessed it: Paint Shop Pro! As always, these are free for you to download and use in your own image creations, and I don’t require a link back. I think it is very hard to remember where all the tubes and brushes come from that I've downloaded, especially the brushes! I know The-Short-One made some wallpaper (I refuse to discuss the subject matter of said paper - it was that Finish singer she is so crazy about!) and she used probably sixty or more brushes in it! How do you link to ALL of those and still make your web page look decent? Besides, who can even TELL what brushes were used? Anyway, you can link to me on any of the things you use, or you don’t have to. I appreciate links on websets and garlands because then other people can find the downloads, but you don’t have to do it!

Anyway, you would not believe the number of hosts I have had to go through before I found this one (orgfree.com). I found several servers which approved me instantly, but all of these had server problems (apparently) and so all that would show up even after i had uploaded my site were empty cgi-bins! Yes, weird, huh? I went through three of those I think. Another one only displayed pages of ads rather than my content, and yet another turned my homepage into advertisements for adult entertainment! EEK! People are really weird, that's all I have to say about THAT! And then The-Short-One went and wrote a long blog on her MySpace page (http://www../pandora_6666) all about it - like SHE had done it! hah! Always taking all the credit! Then again, she writes at least two blogs a week and sometimes more, so what does she have to talk about?! I have twenty times more of a life than she does and I only write one every couple of weeks! I guess that she has to steal other people's lives in order to fill up her pages. Sad, really....

Well, Halloween has come and gone, as everyone has noticed I'm sure, and we had quite the interesting Halloween party this year! We went with a Tolkein theme as opposed to the Harry Potter theme of last year, and we had some very interesting costumes! I went as Gandalf, of course, and Bubbles went as Frodo. He wanted me to be Frodo and he could be Samwise, but as I pointed out to hi, I am far too tall to be a hobbit! I think I would have made a very dashing Aragorn, but then that left bubbles bereft of anyone to be, so, I sacrificed. It’s all right though, I was a very dandy Gandalf!

Anyway, the Harrys all went as Orcs, of course, and they started quite a war in the middle of the party, shouting about "bear flesh" and stabbing people with their plastic swords. I had to help Biolosky, Mr. Tubby and Spotty squash the revolt! Of course, I may have sat on several of the Harrys in the process, but frankly they had it coming! Rotten creatures! I TOLD everyone we should just tie them up and leave them in the bathroom closet! Bitey Harry even bit Mr. Tubby! Left teeth marks and all! Wretched things!

Other than that the party went quietly. thank goodness, and was quite enjoyable, despite the fact that Doggy went a little crazy with the treats. He made "Lembas" and I am pretty sure it was nothing more than shredded cardboard held together with corn syrup. he denies this, but that's what it tasted like!

Thanksgiving is coming up soon, and we are once again having dinner with the bears next door. Doggie says he is making the traditional dinner and if they don’t like it they can go have turkey hotdogs with Eggbert - who is still having a fit about the idea of a turkey-shaped turkey! it's al compressed soy product anyway - who CARES what it's shaped like!?!?!

Other than that it has been very, very COLD here! We are all freezing to death - even the-Sort-One! I believe she is rethinking her brilliant plan to move to the Arctic Circle and raise reindeer and buy "glassware", even. I could have told her it was a stupid plan! She's too tight wadded to actually heat the house here, so what makes her think she won’t freeze to death there!?! Seriously, she comes up with the weirdest things! If she’d spend more time cleaning this pit of a house then maybe she wouldn’t have time to waste coming up with bad ideas!

OOH! I have been playing the new Final Fantasy 12! Chucky and The-Short-One bought it, and I have been having some fun while they sleep! I take their goofy little characters out and kill monsters - though last night I got wiped out by something... I don’t know what it was. They have a book on it, but I don’t have the time to try to read it. besides, I don’t care! I am just having fun selling all of their things off- hee-hee!

Well, I suppose that had best be all for now, as this is quite long already. rest assured that unless something terrible happens I shall be back soon! Oh! And if this site disappears check out http://www.oinkers.5u.com for details about what happened and the status of the site - like when it will be back and where. It’s a very sad thing, I think, when one of my old sites is more reliable than my new one! In fact, if they didn’t have ALL those ads I’d have stayed there forever and been quite happy! If I can ever get the tightwad of a Short-One to pay for a host that's who I'd go through, hands down!

TTF!
O
