Greetings friends! Yes, this is LATE! in fact this is VERY late! And why do you think that is? Well we spent a WEEK with no electricity! That's right, none whatsoever, thanks to a freak ice storm, but I'll get to that later!

I have managed to make just a few new Contact Boxes for Myspace. As always they are free to download and use!

I am feeling somewhat better, and have discovered that I have the Monkey Flu. What is that? Well it's some rare strain of virus that has been brought overseas by hamsters and is rather nasty. They are experimenting with medication to cure it, but right now they say all they can do is try to make you feel better and wait for it to run it's coarse! And you know what? STILL no one takes me seriously! in fact now they laugh even harder and say i am just being silly! I tell you, the sympathy I receive around here is unbelievably low!!

Now, to our week with no power! We had an ice storm and then had a second the next day - and I have never seen ice like this! it was two inches thick at least! Well everything was canceled everywhere, school, business - all closed and all without power. So we had nothing to but sit here in the apartment and huddle together for warmth! The people spent the entire week next door fighting with one another over cookies and such, so we all stayed over here in the dark!

Well, it wasn’t completely dark, really. Pongo rigged us up some lights that we plugged in, running the extension cord out to Charlie's car - that is until he thought of the same idea! Then we were back to candles, flashlights and oil lamps.

The food wasn’t too bad, sometimes. Andy did a little bar-be-queing, so we had some hot food now and then, but it was so cold outside that he didn’t do very much. Mainly we ate things like spaghettie-o's and potato chips and that sort of thing. We pretty much cleaned out all of Doggy and Natasha’s supplies, since nothing was opened to buy anything new at!

We also played a lot of board games and even managed to organize some entertainment by talking people into acting out skits. I even organized a few, though I had some arguing with the cast members, but that's nothing new. I don’t know, no one else seems capable of sharing my amazing visions! Well, except Bubbles. He is quite well behaved and goes along with my idea perfectly.

I spent a lot of time draped in blankets, though. We wore our little coats and mittens all the time, but I thinkthe worse thing was no water! our well pump is electric (apparently) and so there was nothing. We had to put buckets outside to collect water for everything except drinking, and that Charlie shared with us (Their wal-mart opened up part way through the week, so they could buy things).

We got power back last week and The-Short-One has pretty much been glued to the computer catching up on all of "her" things! I don’t know why she thinks she is so important! She should be doing some cleaning instead! Hrmph!

School has reopened again, as has teddy town. Mrs. Friendly has returned finally, and she is now on some little white pills. I have noticed she tends to take them every time Booy does anything, though she had to thank him in front of the class for the flowers he sent her, which made several bears snicker. That just sounds like Booy, doesn’t it? Scare someone to death and then send them flowers! I just don’t understand that bear sometimes! Why can’t he be good!?!?

There is going to be a contest for the posters for the horrible Valentine's dance. The girls are insisting we have a terrible dance once again - i fail to see WHY! But the poster contest is quite interesting. I have been working on my entry for quite awhile now and am almost done with it, and I think I have a good shot of wining. Hopefully, though, the girls won’t demand that we have a valentine's party here too! if can only take SO much of it!!

Well, I must go rest, this monkey Flu was made worse by being cold for a week!
