hello friends! As I write this it is currently cool outside and pouring rain - ah finally! We've had temperatures well over 100 for the last two weeks and then today has been cloudy and rainy with a healthy dose of cawing crows. Lovely!

School will be starting again soon - blech! Not that I don’t enjoy learning new things, of course, but it means having to g back and face the same old idiots again and again and.. I am starting to really give Bubbles's movement some real credence. Not that I didn’t before, of course. Anyway, I am beginning to see the senselessness of it all. We bears go to school indefinitely and never, ever seem to escape unless we're very old. But then again there are a lot of shop owners and such, they had to stop going to school at some point. I don’t know. I just wish I knew whether or not they will tell us when we can quit or if we just stop going. I don’t think it's the latter because Booy tries that all of the time and they come fetch him.

Anyway, we've been school supply shopping and I got a very nice backpack. It’s pink and looks like a piggy, much like my tent and much like, well me. I wanted to get Bubbles one too, but they did not come small enough for him to use, which was very disappointing. I thought we'd be very dapper with matching piggy backpacks. He seemed disappointed too. He did, however, get a very nice blue one, though.

I am getting rather annoyed though. the-Short-One is going to some concert in Indiana - where I have never been - at the end of this month and she says she is NOT taking me! can you imagine that!?!?Why is she leaving me behind!? If she takes that flea bitten bear I'll have a fit, I promise you that! I bet she does! I bet he goes with her and gets to stay in a hotel and everything else! It is so unfair!! I want to go - not that I want to go to the concert, mind you. its to see that horrible band she worships.. um, her, him, his.. something like that. They're foreign anyway, it’s them and that other band who’s name has something to do with pills of some sort. It's a Revolution tour or something.. Oh, I don’t know! And I don’t care! I just want to go on a car trip! Though she is going with someone she met off the internet so maybe it is safer for me to stay here after all.... I mean, they might pignap me! I am so cute, you know!

The rain is really coming down and the Harry's are all wound up about something. They keep muttering "it's ruined, it’s ruined" over and over. I wonder what they are talking about? On second thought I doubt I want to know. it's probably for the best that something is ruined as they are never up to any good anyway.

We watched Mr. Bean’s Holiday or whatever it is called tonight. Mr. bean takes a Holiday.. anyway it is very funny and i highly recommend it. In the movie Mr. Bean wins a trip to France and he manages ot make a mess of things as usual. No reruns of routines here, at least I hadn’t seen any of them before. It was all new and very good. There’s a kid in it and even he was not annoying! I also saw teenage Mutant ninja turtles - the new one - last week and I have to give it a thumbs up too. The CG was a bit too stylized for me, but the storyline made as much sense as the old cartoons ever did. They fought a giant rat named Rocksteady - or was he BeBop? Anyway, the cartoons made very little sense - why would a Japanese ninja rat name them after Italian artists? THAT makes no sense. But, you have to love the Turtles anyway.

I suppose I had better go, the electricity has blipped a few times and I’d like to finish this before the back up battery dies (yes, the cheapskates finally bought a real isobar with a battery back up. About time!)
