January 11 - 24 2003

Winter greetings Friends! My, but it is coooooold here! brrrrrr. Today it is supposed to be only 15 degrees - and that is without counting wind-chill. I though it was supposed to be warmer down south?

Anyways, I am feeling better at any rate. My flu seems to be gone - which is wonderful. The evil alien cats seem to have contracted the virus, though, and are sneezing their disgusting alien goo all over the house. I have been hoping that this flu virus would disable them permanently, but no luck. Being sick has made that diabolical general Moogle snuggly, and she keeps rubbing herself on me - though of course it is only a cover up so none will suspect her evil plot to have me and my own generals eliminated.

Speaking of my generals, the disabling of the cats transmitters (aka whiskers) went fairly well. As luck would have it Charlie had trimmed the cats evil claws the day before, so Booy was only scratched up a little bit. Of course he still whined about it and carried on as though he had been mortally injured. But I suppose that is just a bear for you, after all bears are not nearly so brave as pink pigs.

Not much has been going on here, other than that. Though I have been watching some movies. I saw "Signs" and I must say I was disappointed. It was a good movie, but not as good as everyone built it up to be. Also "Star Wars Episode II" was pretty good, though they cut a lot of scenes out of it that they should have left in. Tonight I saw "Stewart Little 2". It was good, though predictable. I always like the way that they show cats for what they truly are - self centered animals who care only about eating and world domination.

I am expecting a letter from my bestest friend Bubbles any day now. It is coming with a package for The-Short-One. I am so excited; I can hardly wait - though it will be a while till I get to write him back. Our printer is broken - actually it is the ink cartridge that broke, but either way it won't print. It just makes funny noises whenever you try to print anything. Charlie has been home lately, and I wish The-Short-One would quit making him "spend time" with her and let him get it fixed. he says all it needs is a piece of tape.

We have been playing a lot of the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" game. It is a fun game, though of course we had to re-arrange everything. I am quite good at it, if I do say so myself. Right now i hold the record for most consecutive wins, but who is surprised when I am such a genius?

Well, I guess I had better go for now as my hot cocoa is done microwaving and I want to drink it while it is nice and hot.

Stay warm, till next time,
O
