1) 200 more pages would have helped this book immensely! Where are the background stories we have come to expect? Where is Neville? or Luna? or Cho? They all disappear early on and we are left with a very bare bones story - there is not even any scenes of their classes, etc. Everyone feels too one dimensional and the usual luster was missing. The whole book feels too rushed, some expansion would have helped rather than hurt this story.

2) Dumbledore is dead. yes, it is sad, yes it is horrible and yes it is shocking, but it is! Ms. Rowling has said before in many interviews that once someone is dead they are dead. There are a lot of people who can prove by hidden hints in the book that Dumbledore is not really dead, but if he is not dead then how will Harry ever manage to actually face Voldemort alone? The mentor must die so that the hero can step up and be the hero. I say cry about it, and get over it.

3) Sirius Black is also STILL dead. he is not coming back either. The phrase "passed through the veil" is an old saying for when someone dies, so it was made abundantly clear by Ms. Rowling that Sirius is indeed dead. give this one up also.

4) Snape is the good guy. No matter how much he is hated he will always end up as the good guy in the end, otherwise it justifies Harry's hatred of him. The whole point of Snape has always been that just because someone appears to be one way does not mean he is. It will all work out in the end to where he was acting on Dumbledore's orders - the argument Hagrid overheard will be the pivotal point.

5) There was far too much "snogging". I , for one, do not care for squishy, mushy romance.

6) The real locket horcrux is inside Grimbauld place, as R.A.B. was probably Regulus Black. I think that Mundugus has stolen it already, so that Harry will have a time tracking it down.

7) The stone container in the cave was a pensive of sorts, and the liquid was full of the memories of R.A.B. who had to refill it once he emptied it to take the locket in the first place. That is why Dumbledore was yelling and hollering weird things is he was reliving some of R.A.B.'s memories.

8) This is NOT a children's book, and those who allow their children to read it should not complain when their children get upset and cry.

9) Charlie Weasley has obviously joined the death eaters as he is not there and non one EVER mentions him! He does not even show up when his brother is maimed or to meat his brother's fiancé - smells fishy to me!

10) What happened to mad Eye's voice? He is "present" only once during the entire book and says nothin. Perhaps it's another polyjuice fiasco? Someone needs to check his trunk!

11) Tonks and Lupin are a bad combination for obvious reasons!

1) At least Ron and Hermione will be back in the next book even though Harry said he was going alone. the whole key has always been that Harry needs help from his friends, so by making them effectively disappear that would ruin the theme.

2) Harry and Ginny will end up together in the end - assuming they both live - which they may not.

3) Professor Treelawny will become more important in book 7, as she keeps popping up again and again.

4) Neville will end up being a teacher and teaching herbology and marry Luna Lovegood and he will finally get over his fear of his grandmother.

5) Fawkes will show back up and help Harry, as his master is dead and no longer needs him.

6) McGonagal will be the new head master.

7) Malfoy will end up not being the evil villain - he will still be a jerk, though.

8) Wormtail will end up helping Harry in the end.

9) Hermione will end up running a ministry department to help the repressed magical creatures such as house elves and giants.
