1) This book was MUCH better than Half Blood Prince!

2) Snape loving Lily is stupid. Not only is that stupid but his having known her as a child was stupid. The whole chapter read like fanfiction written by a junior high girl! Plus it was in a stupid place and interrupted the entire flow of the battle. She should have had harry find out by some other means that Snape was good - like I said he was. This whole chapter was retarded and if I had been her editor i'd have sent it back to her.

3) Tonks and Lupin were still a bad couple. Killing them was even dumber. There was no good scene to see their deaths in, just a note that they were lying with the dead. Needed some work to illicit tears, because it failed to get any from me.

4) harry and Ginny are a bad couple. The idea that they got back together and got married was a sad one, though I knew it would happen.

5) Fleur must indeed be amazing to turn into a domestic goddess in under a year, wow. This is another bad couple.

6) I was right about all the Horcruxes though I did not have Gringott's listed as a possible location, This was handled well.

7) I found the King's cross chapter annoying. Dumbledore does not ever need to explain anything to harry. I understand this was her way to wrap that up, but it needed work too. Frankly, having Dumbledore be almost evil was.. a bad decision in my opinion.

8) I thought the tent scenes were well written, though many others didn't.

9) The Percy reunion needed more work too. it was far too simplistic and failed to capture the web of mixed emotions that would be present.

10) Harry having to tell Lupin what to do to go back to Tonks was stupid.

11) The epilogue was bad. It covered nothing, explained nothing, and was more confusing than anything else. Personally, I think she cut it down in order to make her Encyclopedia, which she has said she's making, more of a necessity.

12) I liked seeing Draco care about Crabbe and Goyle, that was nice. It made him human without the pathetic attempt to make him good. 13) Harry killed Voldemort with expelliarmus? Actually, Voldemort killed himself - again. Pathetic. potter, the wonder wizard, couldn’t even manage an avada kedavra?

 

These are the predictions I made:

1) At least Ron and Hermione will be back in the next book even though Harry said he was going alone. the whole key has always been that Harry needs help from his friends, so by making them effectively disappear that would ruin the theme.

Well, i was right, they are there!

2) Harry and Ginny will end up together in the end - assuming they both live - which they may not.

Yes, they got married, as sickening as that is.

3) Professor Treelawny will become more important in book 7, as she keeps popping up again and again.

Nope, I was wrong here, no treelawny at all except for one scene.

4) Neville will end up being a teacher and teaching herbology and marry Luna Lovegood and he will finally get over his fear of his grandmother.

Partially right. He ended up a teacher and he is not scared of Grandma but he didn't marry Luna.

5) Fawkes will show back up and help Harry, as his master is dead and no longer needs him.

Nope, no Fawkes

6) McGonagal will be the new head master.

Nope, Snape got it.

7) Malfoy will end up not being the evil villain - he will still be a jerk, though.

Yep, this was right! yay!

8) Wormtail will end up helping Harry in the end.

Depends how you look at it. but without that moment of pity they'd have never escaped so technically I was right.

9) Hermione will end up running a ministry department to help the repressed magical creatures such as house elves and giants.

Though it's not in the book Mrs. Rowling said this in an internet chat with fans. Go Oinkers!

10) Harry was an accidental horcrux, this is why he can speak Parsel tongue.
