Volume XI | By Edgar T. Penguin | June 2001 | ||
Batty and Spotty, master detectives, rose to this challenge. I, Edgar, followed them on their epic search. We began by interviewing Annie and asking her when she'd noticed it missing and where she had been that day. Spotty asked the questions while Batty furiously scribbled down notes. By lunch time the detectives had covered half of the places Annie had reported being and still no luck. After a filling and tasty lunch our master sleuths headed for the cow field where Annie had been playing "Tag". After an extensive search (using a large magnifying glass) the bracelet was finally found lying in the grass. The detectives returned the bracelet to it's thankful owner and received their reward of extra desert for a week. So, our story ends a happy one.
all day long he loved to prance then one day his foot it slipped and he fell in the water lickety split along came a shark and gobbled him down, and now it is said in penguin town that if you dance and prance all day, instead of working and earning your way don't be surprised if you meet a shark, and become his dinner in the water dark!

All of the entries were wonderful, and it was hard for me to choose, but Moos helped me. I want to thank everyone who participated.

I apologize for this, as several were handed in this month, but there is no point in printing an ever-going argument. Thank you for understanding.
Booy, Annie, and Candie have been being mean to each other until they have gotten grounded from playing in the cow pond for a week, starting last Tuesday and ending next Tuesday. Since they are grounded the rest of us have voted (26 to 1) to also stay put of the cow pond as well, in hopes that they will see that we all suffer when they are bad. Booy had this to say, "Annie really hurt me (when she punched me in the nose). She deserves to be punished." Annie had this defense, "He started it, that muddy little bear!" No matter who "started it", Joey has hopefully finished it by grounding them.
