Volume XXV | By Edgar T. Penguin | August 2002 | ||
The first game of the month went well, with a final score of 7 to 3. Head coach Booy returned, only to meet defeat against "The Stars", 9 to 5. The first inning went well, until Booy was benched for fighting with the spectators (Oinkers). From there things were on a downward spiral. Next month will wrap up our baseball season, so be sure and come see the games!

This years Fourth of july party was especially good! Attendance was high for the big bar-b-que. Doggie grilled hot dogs, corn and potatoes, a yummy meal. Once the sun set fireworks exploded into the sky, set off by Spotty and Batty. They did an extraordinary job! All in all it was a great party that will surely be repeated next year, though Booy and Oinkers did not get to attend.
Summer post cards are available for 25¢ a peice. What better way to show friends you care then sending them a postcard! Contact Oinkers.
Found: one green hat with purple bill. If it is your contact Moos. |
Everyone is advised to stay indoors in the air-conditioning. If you must go outside then drink plenty of water. Also, wait until after six o'clock at night when it begins to cool off. At six o'clock you still have three hours of sunlight left! Either way, just try to stay cool!
This is a reminder to get together your lists of school supplies and turn them into Joey. If you're not sure what you need, I have a basic list that is available to anyone upon request. Just remember, summer is almost over!
