A mass exodus of Bears took the local teddy Bus to Buffalo and spent a day immersed in Scottish traditions, from bagpipers to master craftsmen. Several bears (including myself!) participated in traditional Scottish games, but the prizes were taken by the more practiced! As evening drew on we left the closing festival ad stopped at Buffalo's Teddy Pizzeria where everyone enjoyed piping hot, delicious pizza and tasty breadsticks. Upon arriving home, those who bought wooden swords - a popular item- commenced having an every bear0for-himself battle. It is hard to say who won, as it ended in a pile of tired but happy bears. This trip was the first on the teddy bus Line and since things went fairly well - no one got lost, The teddy council is discussing having more trips to local events. If you know of an event then please let a Teddy council member know!
A rodeo, you may wonder. How can we have a rodeo? Well, we have three cats in their prime, all of which represent different skill levels of riding. I currently have six bears signed up for this rip-roarin' god time, isn't there anyone else who would like to show their skills and compete for the "Cat Rodeo" trophy? Come on guys, theses cats aren't aliens, they're just cats, and they're ready to ride! Come talk to me and I'll get you signed up!
The Submitted songs will be sung at the Halloween party, and the winner will be selected. if you would like to enter, please submit your song lyrics to Clownie no later than October 25th! Hope to hear a lot of good songs!

Perhaps one of the most exng games we have seen yet, it was very hard to tell what the outcome would be. Each time one team scored the other would also score, so for most of the game it was tied. The last two innings showed a shift as The chargers started getting tired, allowing The stars to get the extra 4 points they needed to win 14 to 10. The trophy was awarded to the stars coach Clownie in a ceremony after the game. Clownie made a very short acceptance speech and offered to share the trophy with everyone who had played baseball this year. "Everyone deserves this trophy, all the teams worked so hard," you said it Clownie!
Frankly, I think it is time we revived game night, and what better way to do so then by having Troccas night once a week! That is why I have made the cards, so that more than four bears can play at once. if anyone is interested then please come and talk to me about it! For more on Troccas see my Troccas Section on my Extras page!
It seems Joey's mom and her new husband are not going to move out of Joey's brothers house until maybe December or January. Why the change in plans? The investigation by the 4 house detectives has determined that it is a decision based on finances and not by personal choice. Either way, the extra bears are staying longer!
Found: A necklace. If you can describe it you can have it, talk to Drago

Some surprising acts were the Harrys and their musical rendition of "Sweet Little Angels" complete with halos ad white robes. Hot Stuff and the Troublemakers choir also had an interesting act, singing the song "Fun, fun", which they obviously wrote themselves. Most interesting though, was Baby Rexy's "cracker demonstration" in which he showed us a variety of cracker flavors long with some uses for crackers that were very interesting, such a building cracker castles. Of course, the old favorites were still there, such as Sonnets singing, Pongo's juggling and a comedy routine by Clyde and Cluckers. The Iowa bears had many contributions, including Jeremy's poetry reading of an original poem and Orange Ducky and Co's battle re-enactment. All in all it was a great show. has off to organizers oinkers and peanuts, they sure know how to put on a variety show!
Oinkers will be holding a pumpkin carving workshop the second weekend of this month, he will supply al the tools, but you must bring your own pumpkins! Joy is having a costume-making workshop on the third Saturday. She, Cherry Pink, Apple Blossom and Fillmore will be dispensing advice and helping with sewing and costume selection, so bring your ideas and any bits you want in your costume. Natasha, Doggie and Andy will be making the treats for a party the last week of the month and would appreciate it if anyone would like to help. Also household decorating day should be fairly early in the month so be sure and talk to Spotty about helping to hang cobwebs! Of course the annual Halloween party will be held the 31st in the evening. There will be a costume contest, apple bobbing, and a haunted maze (if it is finished in time!). If you want to help talk to Petey, Annie, Spotty, Delf or Oinkers. Happy Halloween!
