Volume LIII By Edgar T. Penguin December 2004
Rodeo Postponed
By Boo Boo
The first ever cat Rodeo has been postponed indefinitely due to the untimely demise of one of the cats [see In Memorial of Feanor].
A new replacement cat has been found, but since she is so small Ruby is not sure which cat the larger bears will ride.
Ruby is hoping to have this problem sorted out by the new year at the latest, at which time the rodeo will be held.
Keep reading The Penguin Post for more rodeo updates.

Thanksgiving Dinner Memorable
This years Thanksgiving dinner was a memorable one, from the food on.
To begin with, due to Eggbert's objections, the traditional turkey was substituted by a mysterious looking turkey loaf. Spud also raised objections to the mashed potatoes so that instead we were served mashed yams.
After dinner we played a rousing game of "Pin the Tail on the Turkey" followed by a movie marathon sponsored by Clownie which included films about Native Americans including "last of the Mohicans" and "Dream Maker".
Of course Henry's traditional "What we're thankful for" reading was also enjoyed on this interesting thanksgiving.

Alien Replacement Arrives
By Oinkers
One cat has left us and another alien is already here to take his place!
His replacement is a small gray kitten which, I believe, may be related to the late Feanor as she has many of his traits.
So who is this new alien? What is her tiny mission? How dangerous is she? Currently I have not had enough time to examine her and find the answers to these questions. Until I do, please consider her dangerous and avoid her!
Don't worry, together we shall be victorious, my fellow earthlings!

Christmas
We will be having Christmas on Christmas as usual, but this year there will be no second Christmas with Bubbles and co. since they are living here!

In Memorial of Feanor
The Intelligence Officer of the F.I.A. (feline Intelligence Agency) known as Feanor was a brave cat. He fell on the noisy highway outside of our home trying to deliver his messages of chaos to all cat kind.
Feanor was an alien, it is true, but a very fuzzy alien who did not try to assassinate any of us. Though he did play on the computer some, and he did climb on things and try to escape whenever the door was opened, still as aliens go he was a good alien. He enjoyed having his tummy rubbed, and his favorite pastime was to steal Charlie's rubber bands and play with them. He was very fast at this, and sometimes could steal a rubber band without you even seeing him. He also enjoyed sleeping and he loved milk and would beg for it, and of course, he usually got it.
Feanor was a worthy adversary. Many is the time the two of us tangled. He used to get on the computer and change my image files and save them under new names. He also was very dangerous when it came to whisker trimming and single handedly defeated my generals time and again. He may have looked like he was dumb, but behind those giant amber eyes was a brain of immense proportions.
So, hats off for our fallen foe, Feanor. May his memory live on.

Christmas Concert Coming
By Willie
Easter and Sonnet are working hard to organize a Holiday Christmas Music Concert.
Several acts have already signed up, such as Spud and Socks, Acorn and Little Tweet and of course the heads of the show are going to make an appearance!
Of course, there is still plenty of room for others to sign up, and plenty of time until The third Saturday of the month when it will be held.

Christmas Party
This year's Christmas Eve party will be held on the 23rd to accommodate with the people's absence at 7 o'clock pm. Hope to see everyone there!
