Valentine's Extravaganza
The annual valentine's party was a little different this year, due to the influence of the Iowa Bears, and the fact that the girls were in charge.
The party opened with a Valentine's costume contest in which everyone who participated won an award. This was followed by our traditional Valentine exchange.
The delicious treats were served during the valentine's concert, which was then followed up by a Valentine's comedy routine done by in-house comedians Clyde and Cluckers. This was followed by dancing, accompanied by the tunes of The Fuzzy Animals.
One guest at the party referred to it as "A Valentine's extravaganza" and I think that pretty much sums it up.

The Teddy Club
By Willie
A new club has been formed here called "The Teddy Club".
Founder, and president, Boo Boo would like to invite everyone to join, "We have already had one meeting, but it's not too late to join! This club is going to do a lot of fun activities and I am hoping to make it a really enjoyable experience."
There are, however, a few other bears in this house who are thinking of starting their own clubs to compete with Boo Boo. "That's alright," Boo Boo said. "There can be more than one club - maybe I'll join some of the others too - as long as their meetings are at different times!"
Boo Boo's club is set to meet every Wednesday in the Bedroom at 7 pm.

Rodeo This Month
By Willie
The first ever inter-house championship rodeo will be held the fifth of this month on the front deck, unless the weather is bad and then it will be held in the kitchen.
The sign-up list for participants will be opened until the second, when you will no longer be able to add your name. Participants are responsible for providing their own costumes, and for making sure that their number is attached to their backs.
Ruby has lined up the three cats that live here, and is also trying to coral a stray cat or two in order to give the bigger bears something to ride.
Andy, Natasha & Doggie will be running a food booth at the event, and there is going to be other entertainment as well. The rodeo promises to be quite an exng event, hope to see everyone there!

Easter
By Boo Boo
This year Easter will be in march - which puts it very close to St. Patrick's Day.
As such, there will not be an Easter party this year - don't want too many parties too close together -, just the usual festivities on Easter Sunday, such as dinner and an Easter Egg hunt.
I hope everyone has a happy Easter!

St. Patrick's Day Party
By Boo Boo
This year's St. Patrick's day party will be held on the evening of St. Patrick's day
Andy, Natasha, and Doggie will br providing the treats as usual, and there is a rumor that The Fuzzy Animals will play again as well.
Right now, exact details of the festivities are scarce, but I am sure that it will be an enjoyable evening!
I want to remind everyone to wear green - or else they will find themselves quite sore by the end of the night!

New Neighbor
We are soon going to have a new neighbor - Joey's brother!
What does this mean to us? It means he may be over here a lot more, and it also means he may be looking to begin kidnapping us small bears for ransom again.
It also means that he, and Joey's mommy will no longer be living together, so that the Iowa bears may soon be going to live in Buffalo.
All of this is currently just speculation, but one thing is clear - he will be moving in any day now!

Alien Update
By Oinkers
This is just to let everyone know that we are still moving ahead against the alien threat.
Also, that I appreciate our new volunteers Tuffy and Tony, who will be participating in their first whisker trimming this week.
    Together, we can win.
