May 9 - 22 2004

Hello my friends! I, your friendly piggy, am here once again. My, but it has gotten hot here! I am nearly melting!

To begin with the ballet was quite an interesting affair. Part way through the third "act" Annie tripped over herself (for the twentieth time) and brought down the scenery - which I made- down with her. It was quite a glorious collapse as the paper trees took out Henry and Cuddles as well. Of course, the Iowa bears had missed rehearsal and though the whole thing was supposed to be comical, so I did not enlighten them to the truth. After the disaster Annie kicked off her ballet shoes and announced quite loudly that she had "had it". She then made up with candy and Betsy, so all is now normal in the house. I am a bit miffed at the wanton destruction of my scenery - I spent two weeks on it, but I glad things have settled down again. Though, now that Annie has given up ballet some of my entertainment has ended.

Baseball season is officially underway as Bubbles has gotten his homework done (more on that later). Our first game was today against The Bears and we won 3 - 2! I am a happy pig as we finally won an opening game! Speaking of baseball, we have a new team this year called The Avengers. Andy is the coach and Mr. Tubby is the assistant coach, also Orange Ducky and Tommy Toad have organized The Chargers, so there are now a total of five teams! They have decided to have two games a day so that everyone could play. Andy's team played Clownie, and sadly Andy won. I am still mad at Andy, but that is not baseball related.

As for Bubbles, he finished all of the homework that Mrs. Prickles sent for him to do. Timothy Bear had to give Bubbles all of his final tests - Mrs. Prickles sent them in a sealed envelope. It turned out that there was no tests and that she simply sent a note saying whatever his final grades in Mrs. Friendly's class were what she would use for him as well. He was very perturbed about the fact that he spent a whole day studying for nothing but I think it was good for him. Of course I didn't tell him that....

Speaking of Bubbles and school he has been having trouble with Mrs. Friendly. Apparently he has been asking too many questions about the organization of the Teddy society. I can not imagine why Mrs. Friendly would get crabby about that, except that perhaps she expects Bubbles to already know the answers such as do we have a teddy President and such. of course we do, silly bear. he should have asked me about it and i could have told him!

We will be out of school at the end of this month and I can not wait! Of course I like school and learning, but I enjoy having free time to play with my bestest friend now that he lives here! Hopefully when he moves out with The-Slobby-Brother-Like Person he will not move too far away!

Well, that is about it for now. I will write again soon, if I do not melt in the heat!

ta ta,
O
