Hello to all, happy Fourth of July! I, your friendly neighborhood piggy, am back. My website has been moved, finally! Hopefully Charlie will have this completely uploaded SOON and then everything can get back to normal - website wise.
Well, the rest did not improve our baseball performance. We lost last Saturday to Orange Ducky's team. It was a very close game, 7 to 3. Tomorrow Andy has to play Orange Ducky, so we shall see who will win then! I hope they both loose, but since that cannot happen, I guess I am rooting for Orange Ducky because I would rather he won than Awful Andy (that is my new nickname for him). It will be the first all Iowa Bears game, so it should be interesting.
As for getting back at Andy he has found his baseball cards, but he still cannot prove anything. Also I greased his bat with Vaseline the week before last. Last week his team didn't play, so I couldn't do much to him then. Though, I am working on a super secret evil plan as he will be moving very soon.
Speaking of Andy moving, things may get interesting around here. The-Slobby-Brother-Like-Person has gotten himself a house in Buffalo (a town near here), and so he and The-Short-One's Mommy and Bubbles and all the Iowa bears will be moving sometime this next week! I do not know what will happen with our baseball season after that, and since it is a different town I don't think Bubbles will be going to school with us, but I don't know yet, since The-Short-One's Mommy and her husband should be moving out to a house of their own in a couple of months. It is all very confusing and upsetting. The people are all glad about the moving, and I am glad the extra people will be gone too, but I am going to miss some of the bears! I have gotten used to sharing a room with Bubbles. Maybe he can stay.... though, I doubt it. I am not exactly sure what day they are moving on, but I have heard it will be by Wednesday, so I guess we will see.
Also this moving has complicated plans for our circus, which was going to be sometime at the end of this month. Now we may have to move it to August, as the Iowa bears may not be here. I am sure that as they are only thirty minutes away, there must be some sort of underground transportation system, after all there is to Springfield. I am going to have to go to teddy Town and check this out at the local bus station. If there is then the Iowa bears will be here for the circus and can probably come over on Saturdays to finish up Baseball - though I hope they do not want us to go there! The-Short-One and her Mommy have been carrying on about what a mess the place is. Apparently they are going to paint Saturday and are going to try to get some carpet or something from that annoying little girl's mother. The way they talk I am not sure I want Bubbles to go there, as there are reportedly lots of spiders! But then again, it is The-Short-One and we all know her objections to cleaning anything, so maybe she is over exaggerating.
Well, Doggy had a mental breakdown this last week and threatened to close the kitchen! He says that we all make big messes and leave them for him to clean up. He even refused to make cookies for several days, and finally Clownie had to make "Circus Cookies" (which were quite good, by the way). After that Doggy started baking again, but I am quite concerned for his sanity. I think Seymore needs to talk to him!
Speaking of insanity, Booy has been behaving in a most frightening manner! He has been very.... nice. He gave me a comic book of my favorite hero "Super Pig". He bought Annie a box of peppermint tea, which is her favorite. She is sure it is poisoned and refused to drink it, so then Booy went to her tea party and asked why they weren't having her new tea. He gave Pigelty-Wigelty a pair of socks, he helped Clarance Thomas weed the garden, and he even helped Doggie go grocery shopping! The scary part is that he giggles while he does nice things, in sort of a maniacal fashion. I am very, very concerned, and frankly am afraid to sleep at night for fear I will wake to find him standing over me, like Andy did (he made Andy breakfast in bed). It is getting scary.
The Fourth of July is this Sunday (as everyone should know), and as usual we are having a party. I do not know where all the people will be, but we bears will be having a blast. We all got our allowances today, and The-Short-One gave us each some extra money for fireworks, so we have bought a lot more fireworks than usual, plus of course the Iowa bears bought some too, so it is going to be a spectacular night! Booy, as usual, and peanuts are going to be in charge of the fireworks display after our usual bar-b-que. I don't know if Edgar is going to assist this year or not, after last year's fiasco (Booy nearly blew him up). Of course we will all be shooting off little stuff all day, but the big stuff we'll save for when it gets dark. I can't wait!
Well, I think that is about it around here, at least that is worth mentioning. I suppose that I shall go for now.
Toodles,
P.S. I have called the Teddy Town Bus Station and there is indeed a bus to Buffalo that runs every three hours, so everything should be fine.
