Greetings friends and Happy Thanksgiving, though things are not so happy here.
The evil alien Feanor is gone. He escaped from the house yesterday and last night Charlie found him near the road. It is a very sad business. I know he was an alien and as such he was my mortal enemy, but I cannot help but feel saddened at his loss. He was a worthy foe and we shall all miss him.
In his honor I have created a Memorial Page which is worth a look and I have also made a New Web Set in his memory. it is quite lovely and I encourage everyone to go take a peek at it and feel free to download it because it, like al of my extras, is a free download.
In light of this event Ruby's rodeo has been postponed until further notice, as many of the bears were slated to ride the evil alien. I have some film footage of Ruby practicing on Feanor, but it is a large file so I don't know if I will get it uploaded or not. Ruby is hoping that she can have the rodeo before the new year, but I am not sure how sentiments will go.
Baby Bear has made up with me, though Booy tried valiantly to keep the argument going. I finally broke down and made baby bear a very nice apology card (complete with glitter!) and that did the trick. Now, to get that bear Booy.... he said he was going to buy me pink dye for Christmas so if my tummy ever "went" as he said I could re-dye it! Hmmmppppphhhh!! The-Short-One said no, that it was too mean of a present and that Christmas was about being nice. Personally I am thinking about buying him some Honey-Cakes laced with fried grasshoppers, yum, yum. Hee-hee!
Bubbles is still asking his questions at school. I have suggested to him that he should perhaps stop, but he says he has a right to know "Who is in charge of the chaotic mess we call teddy Society" (his words). I don't think it really matters who is in charge or how they got there, especially since bubbles got a new set of lines to write over it all. He did a lengthy presentation to the class about how we were all being "kept in purposeful ignorance" and how "they suppress the truth" and how any bear who "tries to find the truth is hidden behind a label of troublemaker and sent to the principals office to keep them quiet!" Needless to say bubbles went to the principal's office. Frankly I do not understand what all the fuss is about, anyway.
Christmas will be here soon, a little over a month. Have you started your Christmas preparations? I have! I have already gotten several presents that are hidden in strategic points in the house and I have begun work on my Christmas cards. Charlie is supposed to get the day after Thanksgiving off of work and if he does we are going to spend the day decorating - I can't wait!
Speaking of Thanksgiving, Charlie and the-Short-one are going to The-Slobby-brother-Like-person's house, so i think Bubbles and I will stay here and have thanksgiving with the rest of the bears. Doggie, Natasha and Andy are already hard at work on the turkey. Eggbert is having a fit about the fact that the turkey looks like a bird, so they are trying to come up with an alternative that is NOT hot dogs! (Though we don't actually eat real turkey, you know, it is teddy Turkey which is made from vegetable stuff and flavored like turkey - al teddy meats are that way, in case you did not know this). Frankly I have no objection to the turkey shape, but then I am not a crazy chicken.
Oh! Bubbles wrote his mommy a letter about Halloween. It has the pictures I drew of everyone in their costumes and is quite interesting. i suggest everyone read it!
Well, that is really all for now. I suppose I had best go and start uploading this.
