Hello to all! Where to begin? These last two weeks have been so hectic that I am either going to have to give the abbreviated version of events or else this will be my longest entry ever! Oh! I have added a new letter though it is actually from Frosty.
As you know, The-Slobby-Brother-Like-Person got the next-door apartment, so The-Short-One started helping him move in. Well, Bubbles's mommy is also living there too, as The-Scruffy-Guy is gone. Where did he go? What is the story here? I do NOT KNOW!!!!! I never know, as no one will tell me anything! I do know (from eavesdropping) that he is evidently not coming back and that Bubbles's Mommy does not seem too upset about this, so draw your own conclusions.
Anyway, as they are living next door, Bubbles and all of the Iowa bears have gone next door to live! I am glad that Bubbles did not have to move out to Buffalo because then he would be in a different school! It is nice having him next door, though it is not quite the same as having him living here as we are no longer sharing a room, but he is just on the other side of the wall so he is not that far away. Whenever I want him to come over I have only to bang on the wall and yell through the crack in the corner (yes, these apartments are shoddily built!) and he comes right over!
Having the Iowa bears gone has created a lot more space here, but unfortunately we have also lost Natasha's tasty pastries for desert. Luckily, she said to come next door anytime and we could have some - she may be surprised when we show up en-masse and all demand cream filled pastries!
Anyway, we have spent the first week of March helping them all move next door, and get everything set up. it is quite nice over there, I must say (if you ignore the shoddy building). They have fairly new carpet and new wallpaper - not to mention new tile in the bathroom! I wish the landlord would give us something new >(sigh)<.
Last weekend we took time out for the rodeo and it was quite interesting, let me tell you! There were 14 participants (yes, 14 crazy bears), and her rodeo clowns turned out to be Cluckers and Clyde - who did quite a good job of entertaining us might I add. Well, Ruby did manage to catch a stray cat, but Hug-Me was the only one who got to ride it as it was so ferocious that he was nearly mauled and after that they let it go. Hug-me still won a prize, even though his ride was very short. Butterscotch ended up winning the top prize for riding Nermal - who would have guessed? Needless to say, there were so many incidents and mishaps that the nurses (Pinky and Betsy) had to call in extra help to bandage bears! Muffins was the worst cat, as she escaped and managed to get several of the spectators as well as the rodeo clowns who were trying to control her! Possibly, she might have not been so upset if they hadn't tried to tie her mouth shut with twist ties - she really didn't seem to like that at all!
Since the rodeo, the evil alien cats have now suddenly developed a bad case of fleas! I maintain the fleas were caught from the mangy evil stray cat but Ruby insists it is from the other day when Shelob escaped. Frankly I don' think the cats would be so eager to go outside if Ruby had not drug them outside and showed them that it had warmed up and was no longer cold - I think they thought it was still winter out. Also, Ruby has quit putting food out now, so all of the coyotes are not only going to be hanging around now - thanks to her - but they will also be hungry. Joy.
Now that the Iowa bears have moved, Boo Boo's "Teddy Club" meetings have moved next door. I have decided I am going to start my own club called "The Greatest Club On Earth". I do not know what we are going to do yet, but I think it will be great! I think we should have meetings on Thursday nights, but Bubbles thinks we should have a membership meeting and let everyone vote on the day and time! Bubbles is a very democratic bear.
By the way, I have seized control of the Saint Patrick's Day party! It is coming up soon, so I have already started to organize things - a much easier task now that the busy body Iowa bears are living next door! Though several bears were still hoping to have a joint party and are trying to talk me into it. My only comment on a joint party is "remember Valentine's Day". Spotty is going to do the decorations, and of course Doggie is going to make the food - he is calling for volunteers and I am sure Edgar and Moos will be happy to help him! I am currently browsing the internet for some interesting games to play, so if anyone knows any St. Patrick's Day games please let me know!
Our political movement is at a standstill. We tried re-sending letters to some of the teddy politicians, but their replies were the exact same form letters! Frankly I am beginning to wonder if any of these bears are real, or if they are just made up names (seriously, who would be named Ruddy Pinwet or Cracker Fisbee?) that a few dictator bears are hiding behind - or better yet maybe there is only one dictator who has made all of these politicians up! I am not sure what else to do - the Internet is no help as I have noticed there is not a large teddy presence on it. For some reason most teddies believe in keeping our society secret from all of the people in the world but I believe in sharing, of course.
Mrs. Friendly has also been really bearing down on us at school lately; she is giving us truckloads of homework! I hope we do not get her again next year - and I am sure she is hoping not to get Booy again too!
Whoo! I am exhausted from all of this typing! I think I have covered everything of importance, so I shall end this now - hopefully it wasn't too long!
Till next time,
O
