Merry Christmas to all! I refuse to say happy Holidays, so if anyone is offended I'm sorry, but Merry Christmas anyway!!
Well, i would have gotten this done sooner, but The-Short-One and Charlie took off to Branson for the weekend and took the phone so I couldn't get online! I would not have cared so much if they had taken me with them - but of course they didn't! They got to stay in a motel and go to a show and the whole bit but no one cares what i did do they? Oh no!! Hrmph!!
It is just as well as we had the exng sled race this weekend - though Little Tweet won! Of course, we had no snow, so it was a sled race in the mud! Which, incidentally, is not easy to do. You have to go very, very fast or else you get bogged down! Little tweet sprayed her runners with vegetable spray and says that is why she won but I am suspicious. i am sure it was something shady! I came in fourth - can you believe that?!?! Fourth!! Bubbles did not even finish - he got stuck in a large mud hole. Booy came in second, and Sir Laugh-a-lot came in third. I just feel that somehow something isn't right with that line up!!
The school play is evidently coming along - not that I would know. I am completely uninvolved as they saw fit to NOT give me a part!! Bubbles's little Indian costume looks quite nice, and i have been helping him with his lines (he has two) but i refuse to do anything more than that! Annie says I am just bitter and all I have to say to that is Hrmph!!
My Christmas ornament workshop went very well - had a lot of participants! Ha ha Maria! Of course, she is doing "make your own wrapping paper" this weekend. Give me a break! How exng, stamping paper with sponges and things - whoopee.
Sir-Laugh-A-Lot is doing a comedy show for us tonight. He swears he has gotten his laughter under control but I have my doubts. I think that it will be the same thing as usual - let me give you an example: "What did one -hee-hee - potato say to the-ha ha ha ha-other? He-said-hee-hee-hee- he said- ha ha ha ha ha h.." and then it fades off into a fit of laughter. Very hard to enjoy the jokes that way!
There is a new bully at school - an Alligator. I am not sure of his name, but he runs around and bites kids and then lies to the teachers about it. He tried to bite Andrew - but Andrew was so fat that he could not get hold of him! Andrew has been laughing about it all week, but frankly I think I am going to have to teach this alligator a lesson if he keeps it up! He tried to bite Clownie the other day and I will not stand for that! Clownie may be a sickening sap, but he is OUR sickening sap and no one else is allowed to be mean to him!!
We are having Christmas ON Christmas day this year - shocking isn't it? We are planning on a Christmas Eve party with the bear's next door. They are still having cook problems, so I don't know what they are going to do for sure - they are on another night of hot dogs. I have nod idea if Andy is going to help Doggie with the party, I know Natasha is baking some cookies and stuff, though.
Speaking of cookies - several classes at school are having cookie week this week - you get to bring in cookies to have as a snack every day - you're supposed to exchange them with others. I think it sounds like a way top end up poisoned! I think I will switch with Bubbles but no one else! Well... maybe Booy - he will probably buy his or have Doggie make them - unless they've been in his pocket!
Well, I am going to end this now and get it uploaded.
