Happy Fourth of July! Things have been busy around here - well, I have been busy anyway!

First, the site news! I have added tons more Glitter images and Website tags - some of which also glitter. I think after this I am going to take a break from the glitter business for a while! I have also given out Oinker's Website Design award to Miss T's Layouts. This is a website run by an alien named Miss T, and I have somehow become affiliated with them! I am suspicious of the alien behavior, but as it is the first one I have managed to find on the Internet by themselves, I am hoping to glean information from her! Like the alien's plans for world dominance so that we can defeat the menace once and for all! That aside, it is a really well put together site! I was going to make some new banners, but I didn't have time, so maybe next week!

It has been extremely hot here all month, and now that we have started July it is no better. The only improvement is that The-Short-One has started turning the air on at around midnight or so, so we are not quite boiling as much. I still spend the afternoon next door though.

Speaking of The-Short-One she has been cleaning >gasp< ! She bought a stand at some garage sale or another and rearranged the whole study area - and actually sent things off to the storage unit! This is a major accomplishment for her as she refuses to get rd of things at all! THEN they got a big bookcase and have moved the front room around so that there is once again floor space! I am nearly delirious with the idea of floor space is this cramped place! Now, if she'd just do those dishes....

We won our last baseball game, though it was against Booy's team The Bears, so not sure how much of a victory that is. I warned the team if we lost to THEM that I would have to get very violent! Imagine loosing to BOOY!?! His team is worse than mine, and that is saying something! I don't think we can possibly win the house cup this year! It looks like The Avengers are going to win it - or else The Stars. I am rooting for The Stars since they are at least from this house! I hate to think of giving up the trophy, though! I lay in my little piggy bed and stare at it before I go to sleep - it looks so nice next to all of my awards!

With the Fourth of July coming up we have made our annual fireworks purchases. Booy will be running the show as usual, though this year Doggie and the twins Atlas and Apollo will be helping him. I have tried to warn them, but they won't listen. We have a fun filled day planned for the fourth, though! There will be wrestling matches with the twins, Sammy, and some of the bears next door. Sonnett has planned some musical entertainment, Tommy Toad is spearheading a car race, and Taylor duck from next door is holding a boat race in the cow pond, which tearful teddy and a few others are competing in. Sebastian has a magic shoe planned, and Sir Laugh-a-lot, Cluckers and Clyde will be doing comedy before hand. Then we will have a bar-b-que and the fireworks show. Doggy has been busy the last few days making homemade ice cream, and Natasha has been baking up a storm, so we will definitely have a lot in the desert variety. All in all i think it will be fun. I thought about trying to put a play on, but I have just been too busy!

Spotty and batty had a bit of a mystery this last week. Penelope pig came to visit some of the girls last weekend, and after she left Candie's heart bracelet had disappeared. Well, you can imagine the conclusions everyone jumped to, though Penelope denied it all. The two detectives spent a lot of time looking for the bracelet, and even enlisted Ruff and Sherlock from next door to help. In the end they found it in Hot Stuff's room. He was trying to use it to make a voodoo doll! Can you imagine?! That devil is more trouble than he is worth!

The Harry's have been misbehaving again as well. The two ninjas have started to teach all the other Harry's their ninja moves, and so they feel the need to practice on everyone! it is hardly safe to walk around a corner anymore without some Harry leaping at you shouting "HIYAH!" and karate chopping you! Something needs to be done! I petitioned to the Teddy Council, but so far they seem uninterested in doing anything! Hrmph! When I finally have to sit on the Harrys I bet they will take action - against me! They are very prejudiced, I think! They never catch the real troublemakers!

Bubbles was quite sad last week as his mommy was in the hospital - AGAIN! But she is back now and feeling better. Something to do with water pills and saline.. or sodium... some form of salt. Humans have so many strange complications! All that happens to us teddies is that we occasionally need repaired. Though when it is The-Short-One on the other side of the needle that can be traumatizing!

Edgar's newspaper strike continues. Someone broke his printing press last February or March, I forget which, and he is on strike until the culprit comes forward. I have told him again and again they won't, but he refuses to listen to me! I have been thinking of taking over the paper - and I would if I was not already managing this site! I only have so many hours in a day, and the-Short-One is very tight with letting me use the computer as it is!

There has been a terrifying development on the alien front! We have a new contact who has been hanging around outside, a little orange kitten. He looks very much like Feanor, and he sits underneath the windows and howls, sending the evil alien cats messages! We have had to do another whisker trimming, which left both of my generals rather badly beaten up, but was well worth it! I sometimes think we should disable their receiving antennas, but whenever I get near their tails they get very, very upset - especially Shelob the alien queen! So, I guess we shall leave them alone >sigh<. Though I am thinking little tinfoil caps taped on should do the trick, but I am not sure where to get tape sticky enough, let alone how to keep them from pulling them off!

Well, that is roughly all the news here, all the news worth reporting that is. My brain has been rotted lately with more Gatchaman! Charlie went and bought The-Short-One box set six finally so she would stop whining, and THEN he got her box set seven as well! They are halfway finished with it, and there are only two more boxes after that. Though evidently she has discovered some other God Awful show - I think it is Voltron - that is now on DVD as well, so I am sure they will rot my brain with those! I have seen so much Gatchaman that I not only know all of the characters names, I know the names of their ninja moves, AND I know what is happening with the plot! EEK!

I shall end this now, and start uploading forever!
