Greetings! Once again I take up my pen to write to you, my faithful friends, an account of what I have been up to lately. Mostly I have been very hot, though we do at least have air-conditioning in this apartment, which would be great if certain dogs named Spotty didn't want to spend all of our time outdoors!
We have been playing in the cow field (when the cows aren't in it) and in the pond. I had a lot of fun splashing Spotty and Booy and Doggie and everyone else, though little Edgar got lost for awhile, but he turned up to be trapped in a deep cow footprint. After we found him I kept an eye on him so he didn't get lost again. The girls (Annie and Candie) have been playing with us in the pond too, only they get mad if you dunk them under the water, which Booy keeps doing. Booy also keeps throwing earthworms at them and putting mud down their swimsuits. Annie got so mad on Tuesday that she punched Booy right in the nose! Of course then he wouldn't play anymore and went crying to The-Short-One, that is when she got home. Annie and Booy both got grounded from playing in the pond for a week, so of course the rest of us have been staying out of it too.
Well, the Baby-sitting thing that The-Short-One was doing is over. I'm not sure what happened - it's not like anyone bothers to tell me anything - but I do know that Charles and The-Short-One are no longer speaking to their "friends". I wonder what happened.......hmmmmm.....I shall have to snoop and find out.
Speaking of snooping, I found out that there is a man who lives in another apartment here, he is very, very crabby and looks mean. That's all I have for now. Till next time O |
