Hello my faithful friends, it is I, your friendly pink piggy. Things here have been a bit strange as of late.
To begin with I am home again. I miss Bubbles all ready, but am glad to be free from Baby Rexy and his crackers! Do you know that I have not had the heart to eat a single cracker since I got home? Granted I have only been home for about a week, but still.
After I got home those friends of Charlie's came over with their little sticky handed child. Guess what she did? She set the tiny turtle loose! (Not to confuse anyone, but their are two turtles here, a big one named Myrtle and a little one named Hagrid). Anyways, the little turtle was missing for a whole week! Spotty and Batty were, of course, on the case. I even helped look and was just about to uncover the turtle's hiding place when Charlie discovered him under the bedroom dresser. Of course before he was found in the bedroom the front room got all torn up and it then took forever to put it all back. Incidentally it was tonight when we found the little turtle, so as you can imagine I am a tired little Piggy.
Well, The-Short-One's Dad was down for a visit. He stayed the whole week and only left this morning. The-Short-One and her dad have spent a lot of time gone to flea markets and things, but as I don't particularly like those things I didn't mind being left here. Then ON Saturday was Firefall. You may be wondering what Firefall is, well I shall tell you. Firefall is an all day event in the city we live near. There is a stage and people sing and stuff like that until 9:45 at night when they set off half an hour worth of fireworks set to the music of a live symphony orchestra. Needless to say it is something everyone should see, so we packed up our little folding chairs and our sunglasses. Booy even had comic books to read until it got dark and Doggie made us some cookies to munch on. But, do you think we got to go? NO!!!! NO ONE EVEN ASKED US IF WE WANTED TO GO!!!! I am a very irate piggy over this! Luckily we also had plenty of our own fireworks, so we set up outside and used the deck for the stage. Sonnet and Easter sang for us and when it got dark we shot off our fireworks. It turned out to be fun, but I am still mad anyway.
Well, I suppose that I shall go as I am tired from all my hard turtle searching,
Till next time,
O
Here is Spotty and Batty searching for the missing turtle.
This is me, Doggie, and Booy all ready to go to Firefall. It was not nice of them to leave us home!
