The third week of September will see the House Championship played against the two teams with the most wins, the victor being the champion for the year! And this year the baseball commission has decided to award a trophy! Mr. Tubby and Buster Thomas have been assigned the duty of finding one. So far The Stars are a shoe-in for the Championship, followed by The Chargers, while The Avengers hold third place in the race. The Pigs and The Bears are tied for fourth with two wins each. If either of these teams wants to see the Championship they are really going to have to step it up and start winning a few games. My money's on the Stars, but it's still anybody's game.
Since the house in Buffalo is only temporary and Mommy and her husband will soon be moving into their own place, it was decided that we should all stay where we are. Also, since they may not get moved until after the school year begins again, it looks as though we will start school here, and may have to change part way through the year, depending on where the house is located. What does this mean for everyone? It means we'll all have to put up with each other a little longer! it also means we won't need to take the bus to finish baseball season! I for one, am glad about that.

Oinkers was accused of trying to bleach Andy's hair while he slept. Oinkers entered a plea of not guilty to Judge Timothy. He then refused council, saying he would defend himself against peanuts, prosecutor for the House. The prosecutions case was very strong. Andy had awaken and found Oinkers in his room covered in a bleach solution and holding a brush. Oinkers, in fact, had large bleached spots on his stomach. The defense's argument, on the other hand, was rather week and stated that Oinkers had found the pot of bleach solution and the brush outside of the room Andy shares with Spotty, and so he was bringing it in, thinking it was something from Spotty's detective kit. When he could not rouse Spotty he tried instead to wake Andy who spilled the bleach on Oinkers in his surprise. The prosecution strengthened their case by providing hard copies of Oinkers's web site stating that he was "working on a super secret evil plan as he [Andy] will be moving soon". This bit of evidence is what ruined the defense's case completely. Oinkers was found guilty by the jury and Judge Timothy sentenced him to dish and garbage duty for a month as punishment. He was also forced to apologize to Andy for this and other crimes for which he was not convicted.

This year will see many new acts, including some from the Iowa bears such as Pandy and Bobby's wrestling, and Slimy's high diving, not ot mention the mystery act to be performed by Zeke and Jessie! Doggie, Natasha and Andy are currently working on making enough snacks for everyone, so if you would like to help let them know. On a side note, as many know, the cotton candy machine has broken down and unless Pongo can fix it or Doggie can solve how to make it without a machine there may be no cotton candy this year. If you would like to help with the circus, it's not too late, just contact Clownie. Hope to see everyone on the deck on Saturday at 3:00!
Why was he being so good then? Because I made a bet with him that he couldn't be good for a whole week. I lost and had to forfeit a case of cookies to him. As I am sure everyone has noticed he has returned to his old behavioral pattern. but wasn't it nicer when he was good?
The party went quite well, until Jessie, Hot Stuff, Toby, Crabby, Bobby Bear and Pongo snatched several fireworks, aimed them at the deck where everyone else was watching the show put on by Booy and Peanuts, and lit them. Pandemonium ensued with fireworks and bears flying everywhere. Luckily no one was injured, and the evildoers were punished by having to clean up the mess from the party. Perhaps they will think twice before doing something like that again!
