The first Captain teddy game worth mentioning was a board game that came out in the early 80's. Using a combination of dice and spinners players made their way around the board and defeated different enemies to receive the title of super hero. The game originally came with gold certificates to print the winner's name on but I doubt any games still have these with them - I know mine doesn't.
In 2004 Rough Round in conjunction with Teddy Town Comics finally released A Captain teddy video game: Captain teddy Ring of Champions. Set up like a mortal Combat style fighting game, players choose a character and fight one on one in a ring in hopes of winning the title of champion. The game was also released as a PC version, though the difficult game controls caused it to receive bad reviews, despite the very nice 3-d graphics. The computer version also features three extra rings and one secret character in the form of Devil Bear.
Captain teddy has even carried over to the Ps3, with the soon to be released Captain teddy and the Space Invaders. This is rumored to be in the style of a first person shooter game where the player gets to play Captain Teddy OR the general of the invading alien horde. Captain teddy's objective, of course, is to defeat the aliens, while the alien’s goal is to take over the earth. The game is slated for release sometimes in 2008 - no screen caps have been released yet, but I did find this sneak peak of the game case.
